These work well as cat deterrents as well. I got these to try and keep my cat off of my plants. So far he does not like them and is staying away from the spikes. I would buy these again. I wish the spikes were a little shorter but it is doing what I need it to do.

These spikes are very well made and a nice deterrent for multiple situations and applications. I use them on my fence to not only protect against birds but also people who might think about jumping over my fence. They can be screwed down but in my case, I just glued them down. They snap apart easily so that you can apply them to any application you may need them for. They're constructed of a decent plastic and the spikes themselves do not warp or break easily. I highly recommend for anybody as a very well made yet cheap deterrent to be used anywhere.

These work pretty well as fence and enclosure toppers to help keep out the strays and racoons. I like that they can be split lengthwise, as some of my fence is chainlink, some is wood, and the catio is both, so being able to adapt it to the width of the area critters like to run or try and scale is a plus. You can also ziptie them to chainlink if you have a problem area that racoons like to climb, i did a rom on the divider between the front and back yard and the racoons gave up on climbing that bit of fence for now.

I am using these inside my chicken coop to prevent my chickens from roosting over their nesting boxes. So far they've been working great. No more chicken poo covering the boxes. These spikes will NOT prevent small birds or rodents from landing, these are to prevent large birds, only! They don't cause damage to the birds feet but they also are not comfortable, either. I watched as two birds tried to jump up on them after I first installed and they immediately jumped back down.
