These are great lights, they look amazing, and really make my truck stand out. I really recommend getting these, the price is really good for what you get. There are a couple things people need to be aware of before buying. On the headlights, there’s a little ring that goes over the bulbs to hold it in, but there was not enough room for that ring to turn, so I ended up having to file down the plastic a little bit. It looks like it may have just been a machining error though as I didn’t have the issue on the other side. They are fairly difficult to install, although that’s not their fault, more so it’s Dodge, but I just wanted to put that out there. The biggest problem though is the adjustment screw is in a terrible place. It’s really difficult to get to them, and if you get LED’s like I did, you’ll quickly realize that LED’s get hot. And I’m just saying this, because I wish I knew before hand, if your like me and were just planning on tapping the headlight power for the LED strip, you can’t. Dodge for some reason has the main power for the headlights set to always be on, with another wire that changes watts which turns the lights on and off. So you can’t wire them in that way. If you were planning on doing that, and are lazy like me and don’t want to run wires. I’d go with the ones without the LED strip. I still highly recommend these headlights though. Like- the clarity on the 2001 Dodge 1500. Got the all chrome for our truck. Looks great, install is easy as described on YouTube by A1Auto. Installation was easy, but be *gentle* since the turn signal and headlight lenses, poly, can crack if forced. The bad-sort of delicate, take your time removing the turn signals from the assembly. A phillips screw driver is needed, and then pull the turn signal from assembly. **do not do what I did and give a light slap to the back off the turn indicator and watch it fall to the concrete floor and crack and break** However, other than that, watch how the turn signal assembly goes. Theres a slot on the side to the headlight then a peg facing forward to line up too. Then work it in and the phillips screw hole will line up. Recommended tools for 2001 1500 4x4 non sport: 6 to 12 inch long phillips screw driver 12 inch extension 3 inch extension Millimeter socket, 10mm(?) Non deep well Bulb grease New headlight and turn signal bulbs (9004 for 2001-1500 Dodge Ram non sport) (3157 turn parking indicator 2001- 1500 Dodge Ram non sport) Torx screw driver for headlight adjustment ... show more

Fitment is not the best and you can visibly see the clips that hold the lens onto the assembly. They are very good looking and I’ve had them on in the winter season for about 2 months now and no moister has got in at all which I was not expecting. Also if you use the standard light bulb in these no matter how much you adjust and move them around they will never be bright enough and the throw is all over the place. Only solution is to get LED lights and blind everyone else on the road. Womp womp ... show more

Lights look good, much better than the OEM. They are not a perfect fit, the locking tabs did not want to lock. Had to reuse the original piece that mounts in the hole on the truck that the tabs lock into. On the passenger side I had to reach in and push the lock towards the light while pushing the light into the lock and snug the bolt down before tightening the two next to the radiator so it didn’t pull it back out of the lock. Definitely need to align the lights. So far so good. Revised. So had them aligned at a shop. First night drive since installing these lights, the beams are terrible and throw spots and lines of light everywhere the high beams are even worse, not focused at all and the light is splotchy. These arrived in Hawaii in less than a week, packaging was form fitted styrofoam in a cardboard box. Installation took about 1 1/2 hours. The first one took a little longer than the second. Watch YouTube video for hints. There are only 4 screws to remove plus another piece that holds the top rear of the unit, which must be removed, because there is a new piece attached to the unit. The one hidden bolt is a little tricky to install and it is best to put it into the 10mm socket and through the mounting hole before placing the unit into position. ... show more
