The shed is less than $300. If you think you're getting top quantity product at a discounted price you'll be disappointed. It is however good for what it is. The shed is not 6x8 feet inside. The 6x8 refers to the overall size i.e. the roof. The instructions are interpretive (think IKEA only worse), but sufficient. Screw holes mostly line up and once together it's pretty solid. I used better screws on the roof panels as it is likely to see higher winds here in Florida. It is possible to put the shed together by yourself, but a helper would be useful. Particularly since the assembly steps are sometimes out of sequence. ... show more

I got the 6x8 and it easily fits my 4 bikes with plenty of room to spare. I'm 5'6 and have to duck to get inside, but can fully stand up once I'm through the door. I also built it entirely by myself. It took me a couple weekends, I'd say between 20-30 hours total of work. Its hard as one person, but doable with some creative problem solving. I recommend an electric screwdriver with a bit that fits the screws and bolts (same bit for all) and one that fits the nuts (just 1 size) it was a huge time and energy saver for me. All the pieces are lightweight, and before I had it staked down the wind slid it around, but I used stakes much larger than it came with and hammered them into the wood base I was building on and I don't think its going anywhere. Moisture does get in a bit because of condensation, and there are tiny gaps that small animals may be able to get in, I'll update the review if these things become a real issue, for the money though its not unexpected. It lost a star because peeling the plastic was a horrible experience. At one point I gave up and left the plastic on the smaller pieces, it comes off the large panels okay but the smaller pieces were so bad. ... show more

The reason this thing is cheap is because you have to put in about $500 worth of labor just to assemble it, took me 12 hours, it seems kinda flimsy but what do you expect from a tool shed.
