Great coverage and thick consistency
Color: Ink Black
Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I purchased this chalk paint to use on a side table that I’m currently working on. I’ll be sanding the table first and then using this paint to give it a fresh new look, so I don’t have pictures to share just yet. I wanted to go ahead and review my initial experience with the paint itself. The first thing I noticed is the consistency. It has a nice thickness to it without seeming difficult to work with, and it provides great coverage. The matte black finish is exactly what I was looking for, and it should give the side table a nice updated, finished appearance once the project is complete. Based on the coverage and thickness of the paint, I have high hopes that it will hold up well once the table is finished and put back into regular use. I also like that chalk paint can give furniture that smooth, classic matte look without having to make the project overly complicated. I’m looking forward to getting the table sanded and painted so I can really put this paint to the test. So far, I’m impressed with the quality and consistency, and it seems like it’s going to work very well for my furniture makeover. I’ll be able to give a better long-term update after the table is finished and has had some time to be used, but my initial impression is definitely positive. The coverage is great, the paint has a nice thickness, and the matte black color is exactly what I wanted!

Love this Chalk Paint!!
Color: Green Gray
Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Let me say, this is now my favorite paint as far as Chalk Paint goes! It has a smooth texture but it goes on like chalk paint and when it dries, it looks so beautiful! I wasn't sure about the Matte Finish but it really turned out so beautiful! It adheres to the paint brush nicely and it goes on really smooth! I did two coats, you can do one and it looks great but I always like to do two coats! I ordered the gray color and I love this color gray, it is such a perfect color of gray! This paint goes a long ways in covering whatever piece of furniture you have! I definitely recommend this Chalk Paint if you have a piece of furniture or whatever you have and want to do it in a Chalk Paint, you will love how smooth it goes on and how beautiful it looks when it dries! It is also very affordable which is always a plus!

Dries Quickly & Looks Beautiful, But Does Need Protective Coating.
Color: Green Gray
Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
When I first got this paint in, I was worried it wouldn't be enough for the buffet & hutch I have been wanting/needing to paint for a few years now. Luckily, it was enough for the full project with enough left over for touch ups down the road. I chose the Green Gray color, as it looked quite similar to the color of the shelves in my bookcase (shown on the left). This paint took minimal stirring, but is otherwise ready to use. I used the included paint brush to apply, and it's actually quite a nice brush, and didn't shed once. Application went pretty well, but this is a VERY fast drying paint, especially if you're in a hot/humid location like I am (Texas), so this means there's a short workable time. Luckily, this paint dries really nicely, so streaks and mistakes don't look awful, which was a relief as I got to the point where I was OVER painting. I did use two coats (and occasionslly a light third) to get a solid finish, as one coat looked a little streaky. This paint is water soluble, so will come off if it gets wet. You will want to add a protective wax or other finish to this, as it won't be super durable on it's own. The color is definitely brighter than shown, and sometimes even looks minty as opposed to sage like, but I love it regardless, and it took our ugly dinged up buffet to luxe level!

Nice chalk paint kit!
Color: Ink Black
Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
This Do What I Love chalk paint kit is ideal if you want to have everything you need to right on hand. It comes with a full kit of supplies so that you can get started now. Chalk paint is so easy to do that I will sometimes just grab a piece of furniture off a resale site or tag sale and do it in one day. There are so many online tutorials out there that show how simple the process is, but this kit makes it super easy for the first time user or someone who just wants to grab supplies and go. Also, it’s important to note that this is 16 ounces, which will give you a lot of coverage. When you go to the product page the headline says 16 ounces but the description only says 1 ounce. The paint comes well packaged and will not leak or spill, as it all comes in a box with the roller, brush etc. So far I would say it’s good quality and looks great. I got the black which is a nice neutral tone.

Missing product
Color: Traffic White
Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
The product was good, it did the work. The only problem is the amount in the pail was half way of it instead of being a full amount. I didn’t returned because I had opened it and opened the other parts as well.

Great paint with all the tools you need - worth the price
Color: Traffic White
Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I used this to go from black to white on a tabletop I was painting, and it worked really well. The paint is a little thin and runny, but it applies nicely, is a bright white, and has surprisingly good coverage with no bleed-through. It seems durable as well since sanding some of the spots that needed touch up didn't budge in high grits. I also like that there is basically no odor, cleanup is easy since it is water-based, and you can brush, roll, or spray it depending on the project. The kit comes with tape, a brush, and a roller, so you have what you need to get started right away. It is a little expensive for the size, but the quality makes it worth. I would definitely use it again and am looking forward to trying the black.

Great Color, Great Value: An Honest Review
Color: Green Gray
Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I bought this paint set to give a few worn-out furniture pieces around the house a much-needed refresh, and honestly, I couldn't be happier with the results. Finding a paint that balances rich texture, smooth application, and great value—especially one that comes with handy accessories—is pretty rare, but this kit nailed it. What Worked Really Well Effortless Application: I’m strictly a weekend DIYer, not a pro, but this paint was unbelievably forgiving. It flows smoothly without leaving those annoying brush streaks or pooling in corners. True One-Coat Coverage: I was skeptical about the "single coat" claim, but the pigment distribution is impressive. It went right over old finishes and minor surface flaws, completely hiding the original color without needing a second pass. Huge time saver! Stunning Color & Finish: The muted green-gray shade is gorgeous—soft, sophisticated, and definitely trendy. The velvety matte finish instantly gave my wooden nightstand and a metal side table an upgraded, custom-made look that fits right in with a modern, cozy vibe. Quick Drying: Fast curing is a game-changer. I didn't have to worry about dust settling onto wet paint or accidental fingerprints ruining the coat while waiting around. Versatility & Value I used this across wood, metal, and ceramic accents, and the adhesion was consistently solid on all three. Having the necessary accessories included in the bundle right out of the box makes the price point feel like an absolute steal compared to buying everything separately at a hardware store. Final Thoughts If you want to breathe new life into old furniture without spending a fortune or dealing with professional-grade headaches, this paint set is a fantastic choice. Easy to use, gorgeous velvety finish, and incredible value for money. Highly recommended!
