  • Almost the same as OEM
I have two DeWalt 735 planers at different locations and one of them did not come with the extended infeed and outfeed tables, so I ordered this aftermarket set from LIZEWEI. On initial inspection, these look identical to the OEM set that I have on one of my machines. I went through the same setup procedure that I originally did with the first machine. All went well with the exception of some of the bolt holes which seemed slightly off. With a little patience and a rat-tail file, I got everything to fit. It did not take much filing, but it was necessary for proper alignment and smooth operation. The tables are flat and did not have any twist to them, so bending them was not necessary. Once installed and aligned, the extension tables work like the OEM versions. Waxing the extensions is something I have always done for smooth operation and I did the same with these tables. At the current price of $29.99, these table extensions are less than half of the OEM price, so if you are prepared to spend a bit more time installing and aligning these tables, they represent a good value. ... show more

  • Bent out of the box, usable with effort, but not worth the effort
TL;DR: the whole point of infeed and outfeed tables on a planer is to keep the workpiece as stable and flat as possible. Bent tables defeat the point, and unless you have a metal shop (and if you did, why buy these when you can make your own that are far superior) then banging these bent pieces into as flat a shape as you can manage doesn't make sense for the cost savings. That's a machinist straight edge in the pictures; it's easy to see how bent these things were when they arrived. These as a lower-cost alternative to OEM planer parts, and they do sort of function once installed. Installation itself is straightforward, but getting everything aligned properly took a lot more time than expected because my tables arrived bent. Between bending them back into shape, dealing with rough threading, and cleaning up minor rust or grime, this felt more like a “finish it yourself” kit than a truly new, ready-to-install product. Once I got them straight and mounted, they worked, but the metal finish is rougher than I’d like. The surface isn’t smooth enough to let boards glide as effortlessly as they should, which is kind of the whole point of infeed and outfeed support. If I were doing it again, I might just spend more and get the OEM parts to avoid the hassle. Pros Easy to attach once you have everything prepped Works sort of as intended after straightening and fine-tuning Cons Arrived bent, making alignment difficult Dents, scratches, and spots that look like rust or dirt out of the box Rough finish Packaging was poor and provided very little protection Threading quality is inconsistent No instruction sheet included, which would have helped with setup and alignment ... show more
