My sealing ring broke the other day and while there are many videos explaining how to fix the problem, it would continually break again. This ring went on easily and the little screw driver included was so much easier than what I had been using. It worked great! A lot less expensive than replacing the whole canister from Dyson. I used a thin screwdriver to push the tabs from the broken part out (I had to push through the inside of the barrel)

    • No need to buy the whole dust bin.
This sealing ring saved me some money. It is a great replacement for my broken dust bin seal. Dyson only sells the whole thing so I'm really happy it worked. It's a bit of a tight fit but it worked fine for me.

I had to modify / cut with a blade half of the rubber gasket so that it would fit properly to my V10. The chamber doesn’t close completely like the factory made one, but it works. I would probably rather use the factory made part but they’re out so will need to use this for the time being.
