I received my generator 5 days ahead of expected delivery date which was nice put the wheels on it filled it with oil and was about to add gas I noticed it had a little water like substance in the tank I got with electric generator depot and they informed me it was from testing and would pay for any damages we agreed and I took it to my mechanic and he got it cleaned up and they credited me back the funds to had the gas tank cleaned no questions asked. I bought this from Cyber Savings (WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN) First I bought it and they were over two weeks past delivery date. I contacted them and never got a reply. Then after I finally got it and set it up the battery was completely dead. Again I contacted Cyber Savings and I never heard a word from them. On a positive note I contacted Dura star directly and even though I didn't purchase an extended warranty they are going to take care of this and send me a new battery. I did jump the battery and it started right up and ran perfectly. I WOULD AND DO recommend this generator BUT I DO NOT and WILL NEVER deal with cyber savings again. ( They are a DBA company) once you pay they don't care....... ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is not my first Duromax / Durostar generator, but it has quickly become my favorite. Delivery was fast, and friendly without a single nick on the box. Setup was a snap and unit fired up on the very first try. (I highly recommend the option of using propane instead of gasoline. Propane is cleaner, produces less carbon monoxide, has an insanely long shelf life and will not gum up your carburetor like gasoline will.} Noise level is on par with a lawn mower, which is a small price to pay for enough power to run my entire house. Exhaust exits 180 degrees away from the control panel, which I thought was nice, as many other units vent their exhaust at a 90 degree angle. Altogether a very positive experience. ... show more

Product only lasted a year. I changed oil and spark plug and filter regularly. I even used rec fuel and still stopped working. I am not pleased with this product at all. The first one I received through Amazon was smashed to pieces. Now I am out a grand for a generator that only lasted a year. I am not impressed at all. ... show more
