    • Make Sure You Put It On Correctly

Compared to some outboard covers on the market this one is obviously alot cheaper. There is a big note to make about this product. It uses a draw string with a little plastic fastener. I installed the cover backwards on accident the first time I used it because it is not labeled well for front/back, everything seemed fine until we had a windstorm that evening. The little plastic fastener which was supposed to be on the front side was rubbing on the motor in the wind and now left and ton of tiny scratches all over my new $13,000 motor. So the irony that cheaping out on a cover to protect the motor is the exact reason that I now have to get it professionally paint corrected. This was my fault as in I did not have the cover facing the right way but it's just a blank black sheet of material with no logos and directly and hardly and shape so pay attention and for the love of God do not put the little plastic thing to the back of the motor!!!!! ... show more
