I got this set for my friend and soul mate in the music. He (like me) studied hvacr. When he received his set of pliers he was impressed by what they are. He told me that man I could find them useful. So he decided to take this set on the job with him. He took one of the pliers out he found that might be useful for a job he saw perfect for them. When he used the pliers he told me that was a great tool for use for that specific job he used them for. He was impressed with the set of pliers and said that they are very handy for on the job as well as home use. Since he said all that I might think of getting that set for myself. He said as most of the people who wrote reviews on here (all you need is a multi-screwdriver and one of these pliers and you are set to handle any electrical job or job at hand). These pliers will serve the purpose of not having to take out the separate tools that each pliers have. Like I said (one of these pliers and a muli-screwdriver) need I say more. He fell in love with the pliers set (since I got them for 3 kings day) and he will use them as his go to set of pliers. Some people find this brand of tools good and others (iffy). I have and own a 5-in-1 multipliers from this brand and did a comparison with other like pliers and they work almost as good as those others. If you treat your tools right then will preform as they should but if you abuse them to their ability to fail or give them a strength or stress test to the point of failure to see how well they do then you are defeating the purpose of the tools for personal gain to say they are junk and not worth being the tool it was meant or made to be. ... show more

I bought these for general repairs around the house. I didn't need anything heavy duty since they weren't going to be used much. But when I opened these, I couldn't believe the quality. Very heavy duty. All 3 have wire strippers built in.
