I'm a bit disappointed that there are hard and pronounced seam ridges on the handle and opposite side of the mug. The mugs are smaller and I can only get two fingers in the handle just with avg size hands...not an "average" mug but the description does say just over 9oz. If the ridges weren't there, I might keep them but this seems like quality control I would not have expected from a company that seems to be all about the glass they produce. I have had many Duralex products for many, many years. I have never had any problems with breakage. With this set of 6 mugs, one of the mugs arrived broken into probably 100 tiny pieces. I was very surprised that this product could so easily be broken up. Has Duralex quality fallen short of late? The packaging was not good at all--one sheet of bubble wrap around the pack of 6, fitting loosely in a box with other items. I would really like to have mug #6 sent to me, in perfect condition of course. ... show more

Shockingly this is not the quality expected from Duralex. Sharp seam edges are present everywhere, including the bottom making the cups uneven & unstable and bouncy on a flat surface. Scratches are also present on all the cups. They were also packed for shipping together in a flat tray cardboard with the cups bouncing against each other with no protection in between. This has led to many scratches near the top of the cups where they were touching. Would not recommend purchasing this product! ... show more

The seam on the inside of the handle is raised and rather sharp. Very uncomfortable to hold. Would not buy again. Also they're not 9 oz, they're 12 oz filled to rim.
