  • I find no fault in these
Size: 10 Inch Style: 32T&60T
I have not actually tried to use either of the blades in this DuraForce 10 Inch 32T & 60T Circular Saw Blade 2-pack. But I ordered them for future use for two main reasons: one is to have a finer cut blade than the 32 tooth blade that I've been using in my table saw for a long time now, and second is to have a spare 32 tooth blade waiting in the wings when my current one gets too dull or is otherwise damaged. The 60 tooth one especially should be very good for cutting more delicate materials like veneers or plastic sheets as well as reducing splintering. The Duraforce blades seem to be very well-made, with a fairly thin kerf (I measured about 2.34mm at the carbide tip, which is narrower than my current blade). Both the blades in the kit seem well balanced as indicated by placing them on a bade-balancing level. I can also attest that the blades are super-sharp, as I handled them without gloves, and although I was extremely careful I could feel them coming very close to cutting the skin on my hands (and the carbide should ensure that they will stay that way for a while). I'm looking forward to mounting them on my saw and taking them for a spin, and I am confident based on what I've seen so far that they will perform admirably. ... show more

  • Good looking blades
Size: 10 Inch Style: 40T&60T
I bought the two pack of blades that included medium and fine tooth. That takes care of most of my project needs. I always keep some old blades around, but then it gets hard to know which ones are just a little dull and which should definitely be thrown away. So I am starting over with new and will just keep one or two spares. It is hard to know what to say about them without a full head to head trial against other blades. The carbides look well bonded and very sharp. One odd thing is that the blades are set up with opposite directions of rotation. Of course, that is pretty obvious when you mount them, so won’t matter to me. You can see that marked on the blades in the photos. They come with pretty tough blade protection film, which will help for the one I won’t be putting on the saw right away. I will update if there is a serious problem, but since I only use the saw occasionally now that I am done with my major remodeling projects, it will take awhile to wear them out. ... show more

  • Great blades
Size: 10 Inch Style: 40T&60T
Wow, these are fantastic blades that punch way above their price class! I've primarily used the 60T blade for cutting baltic birch plywood for speaker boxes. The results have been superb. Clean, quick cuts. Crosscuts are really good, almost no tearout or chipping and look great. I also like the thinner kerf which improve performance for table saws using 120V 15A power, which are a bit wimpy on the power side compared to a 240V saw. It makes cutting faster and easier as well as reducing load on the saw. ... show more

  • Very good budget blades
Size: 10 Inch Style: 40T&60T
I use a cabinet table saw and my normal daily use blade is a Forrest Woodworker II. That is an excellent blade but it's also a very expensive blade. The DuraForce blades are very sharp. They have the anti-vibration slots cut into them but I also use a 5-inch blade stabilizer disc. With all that, even though these are thin-kerf blades I had no problems with vibration. My project yesterday had me ripping some 1-inch Oak boards and then cutting them to length on my crosscut sled. The 40 tooth blade ripped the boards easily without getting bogged down at all. The resulting cut was smooth. The same was true for the 60 tooth blade used for crosscutting the boards. It cut easily and left a very smooth finish. I expected the 1-inch Oak to be a little more of a challenge but they both handled it beautifully. I have no complaints at all about these blades. I can't speak to the longevity of the blades yet but at this price I think you'll come out ahead. There is enough carbide on the teeth to be sharpened several times but I'm not sure it's worth it. Unless you sharpen blades yourself, I expect that you'll spend more sharpening the blade than you would on a brand new (and already sharp) blade. I'm not ready to trade in my Woodworker II but I am happy with these blades. ... show more

  • Great Blades, Nice Value
Size: 10 Inch Style: 32T&60T
I got this blade set to go on my Makita miter saw that has a 5/8" arbor - not all miter saws have a 5/8" arbor, so I'd make sure to check before purchasing. The first thing that I noticed upon unpackaging is that the blades are noticeably thinner than my current Makita blade that is on the saw. The overall design suggests good quality with key features like carbide teeth, thin kerf, laser cut noise-reduction slots, and protective coating. The carbide tips should last a long time as along as the blades just it wood. The thin kerf should help move the blade through the wood quickly, the laser cut slots will reduce blade vibration and cut down on blade noise, and the protective coating should reduce the drag and heat on the blade as it moves through the lumber. The first few cuts with the 60T were as expected, quick, super-clean cuts - great for miter saw use on trim pieces or other finish work. The 32T worked better than expected on some sample 2x4 pieces. The cuts were clean and fast - felt like I wasn't even cutting. I'm please with these blades and look forward to putting them through the works in the future. ... show more

  • Great budget circular saw blades
Size: 10 Inch Style: 40T&60T
I have much better blades for my table saw, but considering the low price, this set is not bad. Compared to my good 40T cross cut blade, even the 60T does not produce as smooth a cut, which is to be expected since my good blade cost close to $100, not a fair comparison. These blades have ATB teeth, so they are a compromise between cross cut and rip. I have a dedicated rip blade with flat top teeth, so I do not use these blades for rip cuts. Instead, I use them if I have to cut MDF, or for cuts that don’t require absolute precision or smoothness. These are NOT thin-kerf blades, despite what the description says. They are 1/8” wide. For the low price they are a good deal. ... show more
