This is a beautiful TV stand. It provides a study TV stand for our 60 inch Samsung TV. It is also a wonderful fireplace heater that easily heats 1000 sq. ft. I love a fireplace in winter, but I don’t love the mess and the maintenance. This fireplace gives me the beauty and coziness of a wood burning fireplace without the mess and expense of maintaining it. It takes a bit of time to assemble but the instructions are easy to follow and the pieces well labelled. The flickering flame effect will mesmerize you like a wood fire does when you gaze at it. The heater & the flame effect are independently controlled with the remote control, and it allows you to have either one or both on as you wish. Sometimes we just have the flame effect turned on and it makes me feel warmer just looking at it. There are shelves behind the glass doors on each end of the unit, and also an open shelf above the heater and digital display. This entertainment center will accommodate TVs up to 65”. Our 60 inch fits easily with lots of room to spare. The engineered wood cabinet has a beautiful Oak finish that looks very elegant. The styling is so nice it could go in any room and match the decor. This Duraflame electric fireplace is exactly what I needed for the winter. We have a room in the house that gets pretty cold, and the heat just doesn’t seem to reach it very well. This faux fireplace is going to be perfect for that space. It’s not strong enough to heat a huge room, but for the room I put it in, it puts out plenty of heat. The flame effect looks gorgeous, too. One thing I love is that you can run the flames without the heat. My cat loves that feature even more than I do! She thinks flames automatically mean warmth. She now expects us to turn the flames on every time she walks into the room, even when it was almost 90 degrees outside. She still wanted her flames. It was fairly easy to put together, but it is very heavy, so doing it alone is tough. Two people make the job a lot easier. They don’t include any extra screws, so don’t be like us and drop one and have to spend 45 minutes searching under the recliner to find it. Keep everything in one spot so nothing goes missing. It comes with a remote control, which is fantastic, and you can also operate it from the control panel on the front in case the remote wanders off. I added a little Velcro to the back of the remote and stuck it to a Velcro strip I made for my smaller remotes, because this one is tiny and easy to lose. Overall, I absolutely love this little fireplace. It’s beautiful, it works well, and it’s already made that cold room so much more comfortable. I highly recommend it. ... show more

The assembly process, while straightforward, did take a significant amount of time to complete. I was very impressed with the quality of the packaging, which ensured that all components arrived in excellent condition. The overall aesthetic of the assembled unit is very pleasing and adds a nice touch to my space. However, I have encountered an issue with the doors. They do not sit correctly and scrape against the bottom of the unit when opened, which has unfortunately left marks. On a positive note, the integrated lighting system is a standout feature. It truly mimics the appearance of a real fire, and I particularly appreciate the ability to adjust the flame speed to my preference. The glass panel was also very well packaged and significantly enhances the piece's elevated look. Additionally, the heater performs exceptionally well, providing effective warmth with a good range of adjustable temperature settings. Despite the minor issue with the doors, I am generally satisfied with the product's features and appearance. ... show more

    • Just Another Electric Fireplace - Nothing Special
I've owned three electric fireplaces in the past before I ordered this one. I have to admit that I was hoping to see some added advantage of the Duraflame "being a brand name" that the other non brand names have, what I realized is that the duraflame doesn't do anything more special than any of the others, but it does cost more. The flame looks similar to the others, the heat output almost identical and the looks of the cabinet are simply "just ok". Overall I was disappointed with this electric fireplace, I expected more for the price and I expected a cabinet that looked a little more flashy.     • Well-Made, Great Ambience and Warmth, Lots of Options
The media could not be loaded. This is a beautiful, sturdy electric fireplace TV stand that was designed well for its purpose, although I am thinking of placing it in my dining room instead and using it as a buffet table (after adding a protective top) - the height and width are perfect. The cabinet is sturdy and the doors have strong handles and hinges. The Duraflame "logs" and "fire" make the perfect ambience in the room, and the radiant heater makes it warm and cozy. I appreciate the many options for flame height, heat temperature, and timer. You can set the flames to be very high all the way down to glowing embers before shutting it off. The infrared heater does really well with supplying heat to the room; there are several temperature settings to choose from. Also, I really like having the timer function so that I don't have to worry about turning it off. Assembly is needed to put this together. The instructional manual was very easy to follow; however, it did take a long time to assemble. It took a person who is very adept at assembling these kinds of things a total of 6 hours to complete.
