I am not pleased with this air conditioner, it dose not cool the way it should. I expected more. The room I have it in is small, it's stays warm its was 84 degrees in this room yesterday.

The only real difference between this and a normal window AC is that this sits inside, while the window AC is entirely in the window. You still need a window. If you want to move it, you have to take all the window stuff apart and move it. That's....a whole lot like a window AC. This does have wheels though, so there's that. This is good if you have windows that don't really support window AC units properly. I put this is my daughter's room. She insists on using a bedroom on the third floor of our old farmhouse. Every other bedroom is on the first or second floor, but she is a teenager and wants to be off by herself. Fine, but the temperature tends to be a bit different up there. If we left the central air running long enough to keep it cool up there, the first floor would be freezing. It would also cost a billion dollars per month. So, I put this in there. She has casement windows, and the window stuff didn't really work, but I made it work with some rigging. So, this is for 300 square feet. I mean 250. I mean 1125. The listing says all three. Her room is 20ftx20ft. That's 400 square feet, obviously. It cooled it just fine on the one day we've had above 80 this year so far. She had it blasting away, and it was much, much colder in her room that it was in the empty room across the hall. Now, this wasn't a blazingly hot summer day, but it should be fine on those days too. It has a remote! Somewhere. She's a teenager and already lost it in her room. I messed around with it for a few minutes before it disappeared into the void. It worked fine. Thankfully, you can do all the same functions right on the main unit.

Great portable air conditioner with remote control. I am very happy with this portable air conditioner to help cool off some of the hotter rooms in my AZ house. The summer can be brutal and rather than reducing the temperature of the whole house in order to cool down one room that is always hot, this air conditioner is the answer. It comes with a remote control. My only two criticisms are that the vent window panels do not fit all of my windows but do work in my trouble area. I also would prefer if there were some front facing vents rather than upward pointing. The advantages far outweigh my two small issues. Highly recommend.

If you are unfamiliar with these types of portable air conditioners… You should know that the exhaust must be vented outside typically through window. This unit cannot be used in a room without a window to the outside. This unit is for smaller spaces only. But it works very well. Easy set up. I like that it has wheels so you can move it from room to room as necessary, though keep in mind you’re going to have to set up the window vent each time you move it. I like that there is not only touch controls on the unit itself, but it comes with a remote control. Relatively quiet. This is an air conditioning unit only. Some units offer both AC as well as heat, but this is for air conditioning only. This portable air conditioning unit is made in China and being sold by Chinese company on Amazon.

I was under the impression that I would not have to empty the water, especially every day or I would not have purchased this air conditioner. The bottom hose/spout is too low to just place a container under it and it leaked all over my floor. VERY INCONVENIENT! I would have returned it, but it is too heavy to lift myself and the package arrived damaged.

This is a great portable air conditioner. We got it to use in an extra bedroom that dont get much air from our AC system. IT was easy to set up and get the vent connected to the window. Being only about 2 feet tall, it does not take up too much room and really does a great job. The remote has an LCD screen that makes it easy to see what settings you have it on. I would recommend this one.
