My daughter goes to a pretty intense summer camp where they paddle board, rock climb, mountain bike, etc. The camp has these exact hammocks. They share pictures every year and the kids absolutely love hanging around in these hammocks. They are easy to pack and they can quickly set them up for lounge time in between activities. I decided to get two for camping - one for me, one for my daughter. The instructions were easy to follow for set up. The hardest part was finding the perfect trees but since my daughter is experienced in that from camp, she took the lead and we had a great spot where we could be close together. I'm short, but I'm also chunky so I do get worried about weight. I hung mine high enough that even a little downward shift didn't send me to the floor. Once I was in it, I felt sturdy and secure. I didn't feel like I was going to rip through the bottom and go tumbling down. I changed position fairly often but still felt secure. Packing it up was a bit difficult for my impatient daughter, but I found it to be really easy to just shove back into the attached bag and be on our way. I would absolutely buy again if need be but I don't see the need any time soon which is actually a compliment!

The Durable Hammock 400 lb Capacity is a sturdy, outdoor leisure item that claims a pretty hefty weight limit. This thing holds my 6'6", 260 lbs frame without a problem. Although it's a bit short for my long legs, my younger kids love it and have been swinging away happily for weeks. Now, while the hammock is capable of supporting my weight, it isn't the most comfortable place for me to lounge for extended periods. The shorter length of the hammock places my legs at an awkward angle. However, my teenage sons and younger daughters find it comfortable and fun. It's been a few weeks, and the hammock is holding up well, despite its lightweight feel. I'm a big guy, so that could just be me underestimating the strength of the nylon. Only time will tell how durable it really is. So there you have it! If you have youngsters at home who enjoy the great outdoors, this hammock might be a hit. Thing worked great. Loved it. Could probably hold 500 pounds. I weigh just under 200 pounds and this thing held me with no worries. My buddy pushes 300 bills and he did just fine as well. However, if you are telling me he AND I could fit in this thing, together, comfortably, you're out of your mind. Ain't no way. AIN'T NO WAY. I'm sure it would be fine for a quick "hey watch this" or "take a picture" kind of moment, but not for a comfy campsite nap. No amount of gymnastics is going to work save one person being directly on top of the other. Two adult human beings of average size cannot occupy this hammock at the same time without: -A) using it improperly, or -B) being romantically involved

I LOVE hammocking and this is fantastic. Super big, extremely easy to set up, and comfy. I really liked the side pouch that holds the hammock when folded, it makes the perfect drink holder. The hammock helt very secure the entire time, and I move around quite a bit before I'm comfy. I also noticed that while the fabric helps keep you cool in the heat, it also does a great job blocking wind. I hammocked on a breezy day and anything covered by the hammock couldn't feel a thing. It's also super easy to pack up. Sometimes it's so hard to get hammocks back in their pouches but all I had to do was roll it up and stuff it in, coil the straps, and you're set. The bag doesn't end up being big and bulky either.

we take these guys camping and any were there is a tree to and them. they do feel a little cheap but actually do really well. the fabric is what I mean feels cheap. I would be care full if your wear a pocket knife or small semi sharp things in you pockets.
