This product took an hour for us to put together and we are not novices, have bought and built a few beds from AMAZON with great delight. We always make a point to lay out all the pieces before starting, so glad that we did because multiple pieces were mislabeled or not labeled all together. Upon completion the product seemed much smaller than depicted and I was a bit uncomfortable with the support of such small metal rods, seemed a bit low quality. This bed went into our guest bedroom and has been used a few times! As we were changing the sheets with less than a month of use, we noticed one of the bottom bases was leaning outward away from the frame of the bed. We pulled off the bed and the entire middle frame has warped and leaning to the side - almost horizontal to the bed. We suspected because the two end pieces towards the head- and foot-boards do not anchor anywhere and the possible low quality build of the product! We tightened all the screws and the same thing continued to happens! This has cause the metal rods that support the entire bed to bend and warp horribly towards the ground! I cannot even begin to tell you the level of DISAPPOINTMENT this has caused us, as this was NOT a small monetary purchase! We literally had to build a make-shift base with wood 2 x 4 planks and an egg crate to keep the middle frames in the bed from any further damage! Just DISGUSTED AND DISAPPOINTED! I’ve never been more impressed with packaging. Came with one extra of every screw and nut ETC. The instructions were decent. Took me (not a very large human) about 45 minutes to completely put together. Doesn’t work with a box spring though at all.

It’s beautiful. It was easy to put together, it just took awhile. Many parts. All the parts are labeled with letters. Following the photo directions makes it easier so you don’t miss something. Having another person assist makes it easier holding pieces in place. So worth the time. I bought the comforter from Lands End sale. The skirt is a 12 inch skirt from Amazon and so is the beautiful canopy. It was very simple to put on. We’re very pleased with our new bed( my husband) he actually loves it too! It has great support for your mattress, my husband used the box and cut it to fit under our mattress just so it protects our mattress from damage because we removed the box spring. It made our bed too high.We were able to use the box spring for the spare memory mattress in spare room. ... show more

Pretty satisfied with this purchase. There were a lot of pieces to this bed frame but none of the screws, nuts and other pieces were missing and the parts were well marked. The only down side was the instructions were missing one page but my husband found it on line. The original headboard had to be sent back-had a manufacture defect but Amazon replaced it quickly. ... show more

I really like this bed. Set up wasn't bad but the unboxing was definitely intimidating. I set out everything in order and checked it was all there which made assembly very easy. You have to follow directions well in order to make it all work. They sent extras of all the bolts and little things just in case. I was surprised at the amount of support on the underside of the bed. I have had a canopy bed before that lacked this and it was so wobbly that I had to mount it to the wall. This bed is very sturdy and doesn't move wobble or shake as all on its own. I bought the black canopy separate but I think it works well with the style of the bed. This bed frame is very affordable and looks great. It was very easy to assemble, took about an hour. Everything screwed together easily. The finish is nice and matches well with a lot of different décor. I ordered the queen size frame and it has two middle supports that make it very sturdy.
