The media could not be loaded. When you buy from this company there is no phone number for support. The only number listed tells you to send an email for support. No one will ever call you back. They only send emails suggesting things for you to try. None of the suggestions even worked. I highly advise anyone to look elsewhere to purchase you gas logs and heat related products. If the item does not work you have to figure it out on your own. My problem was a defective receiver for my gas logs. I purchased a new set of logs with thermostat remote from this company. I paid an additional $200 to have a certified professional install the logs. The logs worked for a few days and then the thermostat stopped working properly. The logs would turn on and then would not turn off. I came home one evening and the temperature was 80 degrees even though I had the thermostat set to turn off at 70 degrees. This could have caused a fire had I left the logs on all day. Then the pilot light would turn off intermittenly and of course the flame would go out. In the middle of a snowstorm and your brand new gas logs won't stay lit. After reaching out to this company about this issue do you think I got one phone call to help figure out what was happening with these new logs? All I got was emails suggesting things for me to try. Even after I told them to stop the emails and pick up the phone they still insisted on sending emails. I purchased another receiver from another company who was more than happy to help me troubleshoot. The receiver did the trick and the logs are now working PROPERLY. I repeat, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. If you get a defective product you are on your own. The video shows that the logs are still burning even though the thermostat was CORRECTLY set to turn the logs off at 70 degrees with a 2 degree variance. The temperature had reached 75 degrees and still had not turned off!! ... show more

I bought this to heat my living room and not the whole house when spending time in one room. I've had it running since 12-1-24, it's now 1-13. So far zero complaints. It kicks off quite a bit of heat so my furnace runs a lot less. I wish it was a 2 stage burner, but I knew it wasn't when I bought it so no big deal. The remote thermostat works well too. If it craps out, I will be updating this review reflecting that. ... show more

I did hire a plumber to attach this to the gas line… So I can’t comment about that being difficult or easy… The Logs are a little tricky to put in… There are four or five different models, and the configuration of placing the logs on them is a little different on each one… I didn’t realize it until about 30 minutes into trying to figure it out… My model did not come with The extra ember kit that you can put underneath it… But it did come with a box of like little stones… But nowhere in the instructions it tells you what to do. I looked at the picture and it seems like you put them at the base… It’s also not clear in the instructions how to initially light it… But if you’ve ever use the gas grill outside you’ll figure it out… The batteries were all included so that was great… You have to find a place to mount the little receiver that connects to the remote through Bluetooth I guess… So besides those little tricks and tips to put it in, I can tell you that I love this thing… It’s better than similar items at double the price… Wish they gave better instructions but, you can’t have everything… Once you get through the initial installation and work those little quirks out… You will love this thing. It’s also 30 inches wide, which is good… I have a huge Fireplace… If I could’ve found one 36 inches wide I would have… ... show more

I can’t get it to work. After buying all the additional “necessary” parts (regulator, gas appliance hook-up kit, adapters and flex hose) I still can’t get LP gas into the logs. I got gas coming out of the line but as soon as I screw the fitting into the log set and turn on the valve, NOTHING. I assume it has something to do with the stupid plunger design in the log regulator connection. $50 in additional parts to try and make this thing work and I got nothing. I guess it’s time to re-box for a refund. You would think everything needed to connect would come with the appliance except for tools. Not with this set. The instructions even say, "only a qualified agency should perform installation". I guess that is because they would have all the additional parts needed to make it work. Edit: I'm going from 1 star to three because I finally got it to fire up. After removing and reinstalling the LP hose adapter (that I had to buy) at the unit going into the regulator three times I was finally able to produce fuel to the pilot. Another note to future buyers, if the remote sensor is not hooked up with effective batteries the unit cannot be lit. Being new to this particular log set I can only assume that dead batteries make the fireplace inoperable. You cannot adjust the flame with the remote. If it’s dialed to high it comes on at high. If it’s dialed to low, it comes on at low. Another issue with my purchase is that the remote has part of the LEDs not working. I only see partial numbers. This unit does not have an electronic pilot so the pilot is constantly on. But at $300 I figured this would be the case. Overall so far (4 days in) it’s an OK unit. Nice looking flame, good heat production and overall aesthetically pleasing. ... show more

Excellent. Purchased a 20 year old home in April. Started using original ventless propane logs in November. Old logs had strong burn byproduct odor. Tried to replace logs. They had issue too. Then pilot light assembly went out. Replaced. That had issues too. All returned to Amazon. Went with this American Made unit. Simple install I did myself. Easy if you have some basic handyman skills. Company instructions excellent. Only had slight propane burn byproduct odor at first, but went away after initial 3 or so 4 uses. Great product. ... show more
