Never picked up a Pickleball paddle or ball before I bought this set. Have a couple of friends that played or wanted to play so I jumped right in. Liked that this set was attractive (love the blue and red!) and came with four balls and four paddles so other friends interested in getting into the game can try it out with us. Could not be happier with this set! Practiced against a bare wall in my garage and then had a warmup session with some friends and then we actually played a couple of games. It was so much fun! I’m sure in the near future I will want to upgrade to nicer paddle, but for now this is the perfect set at the perfect price. Don’t wait! But this set, watch some you tube videos, find a wall to practice on, then go find an open court. You won’t regret it.

Why do starter items need to be cheap when good quality is more important. I played with these for a day and tried someone else's paddles that were more expensive. It was very noticeable how much lighter the more expensive paddles were along with being easier to use.

There was nothing wrong with the product. At the price, four paddles, a case, and four balls is a great value. We didn’t pay close enough attention to the paddle size, which is the smallest one can buy. We preferred bigger paddles when we played previously, so only for that reason, we’re returning and buying another set. These would be great for kids/youth or people who just want to have fun and the paddle/weight doesn’t matter. We’ve read a smaller size has a better sweet spot, so these could be preferable for many.
