Have a few higher end Duckett rods and they are great. Bought the Green Ghost as a rod to use locally as most my gear is kept in my boat in another state. Right off the bat I could tell it wasn't quality when I had a problem seating my reel and the locking apparatus did not want to screw down. After some adjusting, I finally got the real to seat and tighten. Action on the rod was decent.... For the short time it lasted.... On my fourth rainbow trout (not exactly a big fish) the rod snapped mid fight. I do like my other Duckett rods so it's not like I'm going to boycott the company, just thought this was poor compared to their other products. ... show more

Came from the east side all the way to the west side of America and it made it in 1 package was damaged but rod wasn't broken caught a 6 pounder hook set is strong 100% reccomend other peoples 1 star review can happen to you so be careful if you live on the east coast then don't worry about it being damaged but good rod put a mach 2 reel on it and its awesome looking ... show more
