I bought this flat iron because it's duel voltage and will work in Europe (where I will be in 2 weeks). It looks nice and has the swivel cord, but unfortunately, it does not get very hot. After several minutes of heating up on the hottest setting, (400 degrees) I was able to hold the hot part of the wand in my hand for almost 10 seconds before I needed to let go. Knowing that I have medium thick hair, and the iron wasn't very hot, I clipped my hair into small sections that were about half the size I normally clip. Instead of going over each section once or twice, I had to go over them 3 or 4 times very very slowly, but they still didn't get as straight as with my regular straightener. i'll take it to Europe with me because it's better than nothing, but I will probably wind up wearing my hair in a ponytail most of the time. The media could not be loaded. This is a cute flat iron. It’s easy to hold and it gets hair straightened so well. It works great on any hair types. Temperature control works great and its open and close feature works well. The storage of this iron is easy it fits in small spaces and it’s light weight and worth the buy. I have long curly hair & trying to get my hair at a decent straight look was tiring. My daughter hd more fine hair with a little frizz & it worked fine on her but still not the best straight result.

This heats up quick and has some nice features, but there are also some things I didn't like. The temperature control works well and you can get up to 400 degrees for use. It is light and the cable swivels to make it easier to maneuver. It also has a locking button to keep it closed when not in use. Two things I didn't particularly care for though. The power button is on the inside and can be difficult to get to. The other thing is that it has dotted spots on the end. Maybe I misread it but it says not to touch those areas due to it getting too hot and risks for burns. That is the area the girl is touching in the how to use video. It's where most women grab it for use. So I was a bit confused. Besides that it works well, and for the price it is worth it. ... show more

It was so difficult for me to find a straightener. I have a wavy hair, and it should have worked fine. It didn’t. It doesn’t get warm enough. Disappointed.

The Yeegor flat iron is a great product. It took about one minute for it to reach my desired temperature. It has several temperature options to choose from. Having naturally curly hair, I found that the 360° setting was ideal. It's slender and easy to use and took me about 20 minutes to straighten my hair, and left it smooth. The rounded edges also make it nice to do some loose curls at the end if you want to create more of a wave look for your hair. Instructions were easy and it was very easy to use. This does get the job done but for me, it's more of a travel iron vs an every day. I have fine hair but a lot of it. I prefer wider irons as thinner ones just seem to take a long time. This was no exception. I do love the fact that the power button is internal. No way I can accidentally turn it off while using. The cord swivels which is always a nice feature.
