NOTE: - This review is for specifically for the unit labeled under "K Ceve" brand and listed as: "Dual Monitor KVM Switch 2 Port 4K@60Hz 2K@144Hz Simulation EDID,HDMI USB 3.0 Switch Extended Display 2 Monitors 2 Computers with HDMI and USB 3.0 Cable" I have seen a mix of reviews, both good and bad, on this listing. I chose to take a chance on this product because it is one of the few units with EDID emulation (It keeps the computers from acting like the monitor was unplugged and re-plugged every time you push the button) and because the majority of negative reviews show the manufacture having made good with the impacted users. I have two 1080p Acer SB220Q gaming monitors that function with no loss in quality of performance through the switch. (Be aware the manufacturer cautions that the inputs must be HDMI, or USB-C adapted to HDMI. Other kinds of adaptors might not work.) I chose to use JSAUX branded cables, instead of the ones included with the unit. There is a ~3 to 5 second delay in switching the monitors using the KVM, but that compares against a ~3 to 5 second delay in switching inputs per monitor through the On Screen Display, and I avoid having to run multiple sets of adaptors (because the monitors I have only have 1 HDMI port), and keeps the computers from thinking the monitors were disconnected. Some of the other reviews mention issue with product longevity. I'm not able to comment since I've only had mine for a couple of days now, but will update the listing if I run into trouble. (I believe the manufacturer has upgraded the unit since then- so might not be an issue) It's a dual monitor KVM that supports 4K@60Hz, and I'm running at 1080p@60Hz. - It does what I need it to do, and didn't do unspeakable damage to my wallet. - Would recommend. ... show more

Update: The seller reached out to me and offered to send an updated model. I did not expect this at all, so I was most grateful to accept. They kept in good communication with me throughout the process (even when I got a bit buried by life and didn’t respond as quickly as I should have). The new model is working well so far. Of course, I’ll give an update should that change. Again, great effort on the seller’s part to support their sale after the fact and very good communication. I upped my review to four stars as I have a working product and the seller was very impressive in their efforts to make things right. — Original review — 1 star I purchased this in March and it worked great until June when one of my monitors would randomly cut out and come back in. Today, I unplugged everything at my desk due to a cable management project. After reattaching everything I found that the upper monitor output port stopped working altogether. I guess it was like getting roughly a dollar per day of utilization but I’m pretty disappointed.     • Weird for pc/Mac combo (Some quick fixes)

Alright, so I bought this to switch my two monitors, mouse, keyboard, and headset for my gaming pc and Mac mini. And I have a pretty odd setup for displays my main monitor is 27inches 2560x1440@144hz, and my second monitor is 34 inch ultra wide with a 3440x1440@100hz so this was a pretty good stress test for this kvm switch. Out of the box it worked great for the gaming pc as monitor 1 was running at full 2k@144hz, however my oddball ultra wide monitor 2 seems to be capped at 50hz probably due to the 3440x1440 resolution. Now, for source 2/Mac mini when I would switch it over monitor 1 would display but was blinking and monitor 2 had no picture which took some playing around with to fix which I'll share below. -I was able to fix the flickering on monitor 1 on the Mac mini by setting the refresh rate to 120hz. -I was also able to get the 2nd monitor to display on the Mac mini by selecting it in System Settings > Displays and changing the resolution to 1080 then back to its original resolution but this was also capped at 50hz which is fine for what I use it for. ... show more

I have had this KVM switch for about a month. I had ordered another brand KVM, but had a ton of issues with it. So, I ordered this KVM. I had issues, but reached out to the seller. The Seller was quick to respond and worked to help me troubleshoot my issues. The new KVM works flawlessly and I couldn't be happier.     • HDMI ports suddenly stopped working
Worked very well for a couple weeks, and then both HDMI Out ports stopped working. Unfortunately I'd already thrown out the packaging so it can't be returned. Might be worth spending a little more to get something a little sturdier. UPDATE: Seller replaced the product for free and it's working for now, so I've upgraded from 1 to 4 stars (not 5 because I'm sure I wasn't the first and won't be the last one to get a faulty product, but at least you can get it fixed with just a little hassle!) ... show more

    • Quit working, was replaced by qeesun, new one works well
This turned into an ordeal. it was working fine initially. Then after about a month and a half, the HDMI 2 and all USBs quit working. HDMI 1 still worked, so there's that I guess. No amount of switching of cables would resolve the issue, nor would using external power. Direct connections worked, going through the KVM switch wouldn't. Of course it quit after the 30 day return window closed. After writing an initial bad review, qeesun contacted me and requested to make it right, which they did. They sent me a new KVM switch free of charge. Everything was working but one HDMI that used a USB-C adapter. They sent me a new adapter for free, which worked. The previous one worked directly from Mac to monitor, but not going through the KVM. The new one that worked through the KVM was 8K. This was initially frustrating, but they backed up their product and made it right, so kudos to them. ... show more
