  • Crisp Screen, Solid Build, Extremely Useful
I’ve used a few WiFi borescopes before and they were always laggy or needed a phone app. This one has none of that headache—just turn it on and go. The 5" IPS screen is bright and sharp, and it feels like using a high-end device. Both front and side cameras are super clear, and switching between them is instant. I used it to look inside a wall for a long 30ft HDMI run. The rigid cable is long enough for most jobs and holds its shape well without flopping around. Pros: • Sharp 1080p image with great color accuracy and no lag • Dual lenses let you check angles without moving the whole probe • Semi-rigid cable actually stays where you bend it • Comes with useful attachments (hook, magnet) that screw in securely • No app or WiFi required • Records both photos and videos to a memory card (not included) • Battery easily lasts through multiple inspection sessions Cons: • Would be nice if it included a case, but not a deal-breaker The build quality, image clarity, and ease of use make this a solid piece of kit to have in the garage or toolbox. Already helped me avoid a drywall tear-out. ... show more

  • Relatively good, low cost product, but with some concerns
This product has a mix of strengths and limitations, which I’ll summarize for anyone considering it. Positives: • The endoscope delivers a good quality image on the LCD, and the long semi-rigid cable is effective for reaching into narrow or curved spaces. • Dual lenses improve visibility, and adjustable LED brightness helps fine-tune image clarity. • Useful features like snapshot, video (with audio), digital zoom, and image flipping all worked as described. • Battery life is solid for casual use, and it’s nice that the screen includes fast-forward playback for videos. • The included attachments (magnet, hook, and cap) are practical, though they can slightly obscure the camera view when LEDs are on. • A few thoughtful touches like a flip stand, musical tones for power on/off, and the ability to charge while in use (with an indicator) add to the usability. Limitations: • Some controls perform multiple functions and require a manual to fully understand. • The built-in mic and speaker have very limited audio quality. • The cable’s stiffness can sometimes shift the lightweight display unit when placed on a surface. • The connection between the probe and display can be sensitive to movement. • No storage pouch or case is included, which makes keeping accessories together a bit challenging. • Files stored on the TF card can’t be accessed via USB while installed — the card needs to be removed for transfers. Overall, the product works well for basic inspection needs and delivers reasonable value at its price point. While there are a few drawbacks, most are manageable with a bit of setup and patience. ... show more

  • Reliable, Offordable, Amazing
This Endoscope is by fair the best tool I have used in my mobile mechanics business. It makes finding things in tight places easy. It has a nice screen size, and the picture is quite clear. The camera allows for pictures to be taken and saved to show exactly what it is you are looking at. SD port for memory card for picture saving, image rotation, adjustable LED lights. Highly recommend this product as this is now the second I have purchased and will be using for a long time. Great for the DIY person or the average Joe. ... show more

  • Recommend borescope for DIY jobs
I highly recommend this endoscope for DIY jobs. I purchased mainly to inspect air HVAC ducts/ plumbing exhaust pipe. Found that there were clogged. For the price, I can say it you will get a great quality product plus all the added features such as the led light and dual camera.

  • Simple to use borescope with both front and side camera capability
This low cost borescope features a large 5" color display that provides a reasonably clear image with good resolution. I have tested other borescopes before, but this one was unusual in that the connector at the end of the 16.5 foot cable is actually a USB-A connector; the camera chip itself resides at the tip of the borescope cable, and what is transmitted down the cable is digital, rather than a fiber optic image. This particular borescope features both a camera at the tip, as well as a camera just 1/4 inch below the tip, on the side; some applications benefit from having an image from the side, rather than straight ahead. The accessories include a slip-on hook tip which is positioned an inch or so forward of the camera, helping to retrieve objects. In testing, I found that the minimum focused distance is about an inch or so, for either the tip or side cameras. The instruction manual suggests that the manufacturer offers alternative camera/cable assemblies with different characteristics for specialized applications. The borescope can, if equipped with a micro-SD card supplied by the user, take photos or video. Although not mentioned in the test of the instruction manual, it appears that the device has both a speaker and a microphone, implying that videos taken with this unit can also be annotated by voice; not having a micro-SD card handy, I did not try this out. The keyboard controls are quite intuitive and easy to operate. The up and down arrows permit three levels of digital zoom. Another button can be used to invert the image by 180 degrees. A separate button either takes a picture (quick press) or a video (press and hold) if the user supplies a micro-SD card up to 64Gb in size. The product includes a USB-A to USB-C cable, for charging the borescope. ... show more
