This is a great price for 2 Ryobi batteries. They worked on my Ryobi Chargers and in each machine that requires this size battery. It doesn't quite last as long as an actual Ryobi battery, but for my lawn chores, it lasted till I was finished. For the price of 2 of them, I can work with one, charge the other, and replace. I think it's a great deal!

Worked well at first. Just about a year after buying them, they both failed. Will no longer charge and are useless at this point. Not worth the initial money savings for knock off in my opinion. Unless I got lemons and the manufacturer will replace, I will definitely not buy again nor recommend at this point.

Purchased the 2 pack, charged them both fully when received (they were at least 75% charged when arrived) and they worked great on the first day for 2 charging cycles each. While 1 battery continued to be a great workhorse on day 2 of my project, the 2nd battery showed a charging error which I could not resolve so I am returning them and do plan to repurchase same. Seller has been helpful to get this resolved. Despite the return/exchange, they clearly lasted longer than the 4 Ahr OEM batteries I have and are a really good deal price wise. Given the support, I feel confident I just picked up a bad battery.

As promised this battery fits the HP ProBook 4530s very well. We followed the battery's included directions for initial charging and cycling. The instructions are to: 1) fully charge battery, which we did overnite with computer off, then 2) for first 3 cycles use battery until it gets to 7% then charge back to 100%. When fully charged (98%) the battery status says that there is ~4½ hrs of usage. Unfortunately, even starting with the first use cycle, the battery gets down to a reported ~40% and then the computer immediately shuts down for lack of battery power (so we can never reach the suggested 7% low point). This has happened consistently now for several charge/use cycles (maybe ~10). The system is usable for about 2 to 2½ hrs before getting to the 40% shutdown point. We can live with this, but it sure would have been a LOT better if the life remaining estimation could be a more accurate representation of reality. SO, bottom line is that the battery does work/function, but life is only about a couple hours.

I used this battery for a HP Probook 4540s. The fit and finish works well with the laptop. No issues installing. I went through the three charge cycles as recommended by the manufacturer. The charge cycle takes the battery down to 7% and then a 100% charge. This conditions the battery and it also allows the battery monitor software to characterize the battery. After using a few times post charge cycle conditioning, the battery is holding charge well. I would recommend not allowing the battery to drop below 7-10% before charging. It is generally not a good practice to allow any battery to fully discharge repeatedly. I get around 2 hours with full battery, bright screen and HP optimized performance setting with general work (internet, office apps, etc..). This is not gaming or full screen video. Also, this is not with audio playing constantly (streaming, for example). For the fit and finish and current performance, the battery is well priced.

My wife was in dire need of a replacement battery for her laptop. We had put off purchasing one for some time because the OEM replacement batteries were quite expensive and money being money, was always tight. However we were also leary of purchasing a third party manufacturers battery because I had done it once before and ended up with a slightly cheaper paperweight. It wouldn't run without being plugged in even long enough to walk room to room which was an annoyance. Finally, facing an upcoming trip we decided to give it a go and hope for the best. So far she's very happy with the battery, reports that the battery life exceeds her expectations with no issues as of yet. If anything changes I will update this review accordingly however as of this time the wife's verdict is it's a great battery for a great price.
