Easy to install as long as you don’t mind taking the dryer apart. There were only like 15 screws to get it apart. I ended up putting the screws back in the holes as I took it apart to make sure I didn’t forget where any of them went, also so I wouldn’t lose them. It heats up just as if it is a new product. This didn't fix my dryer. It was 12 years old and worth a shot. If you buy this, I would also go ahead and buy the thermal fuse. 18% of the time that's needed as well. We installed the thermal fuse set as well. It's just time for a new dryer. While you have you dryer taken apart, go ahead and clean the inside (shop vac) vacuum it out. ... show more

This was a waste of time and money. It took my husband about 4 hours to install this replacement dryer heater in our dryer. It never heated up as well as our previous one and it took 2-3 drying cycles before or clothes were dry. Today my daughter needed to wash her jersy for team pictures and the heating element went out! It didn't even last two months! I do NOT recommend purchasing this. Save your time and money and find a different supplier. ... show more
