Got these with my girlfriends for a bachelorette trip to Salem! Needless to say, we were the center of attention! We were shocked at how good the quality of these costumes is! The pants are thick and have deep pockets. The wig stayed on all night, all accessories were top notch! We stayed warm all night and we were the cutest colonials out there! I recommend this set, ladies they come in regular men sizes so I am usually M/L in women’s and got a Medium and it fit as a cute oversized costume. I am saving this costume cause the quality is good and I can for sure wear in the future! Also for all the tall ladies, they’re tall enough. If you’re a man I’d get your own size. ... show more

The costume looked great on my husband for Halloween, as we were the two Georges. He typically wears a 36-38 (37 fits best) W and 34 L in pants and a 46R in jacket. Even with his bread shoulders, I would probably add shoulder pads before he wore it again. The fit was good. The quality on most of it was what I expected, although the wig and the hat were less so. We ordered an additional wig that he will wear in the future, and he doesn’t intend on wearing the hat again. Both of those will go in our children’s costume box. He said it was comfortable and it will hold up for several more wearings at least, so it’s durable. We paired it with some steampunk spats, but he still wanted to wear sneakers, and they would have looked better with dress shoes. ... show more

Great outfit to celebrate USA 250 year birthday. I ordered XL and was too big for me. M or L would be better but it worked with a few adjustments. I wore my own black pants with beige compresdion socks.

The pants have pockets! The pants have pockets! The coat is quite nicely made, especially for the price, but doesn't have real pockets. I may change that. I had to work to make the hat into the typical tri-corner shape. The hat is shaped with a thin wire around it, and is made of fuzzy stretchy velveteen (fuzzy outside.) It comes 2-corner! I won't wear the wig, because I don't need it, lol... It might be hard to fit the hat over the wig on a big head like mine, anyway. I got an XL based on the size chart, and it fits an XL American woman. The pants were obviously not made for curvy women though. They are a little scratchy, and would feel better with stockings. I guess stockings were worn at the time. They probably had scratchy wool pants. Anyway I feel like a proper revolutionary when wearing this! ... show more

I purchased this Aicoaub Founding Father costume in October for Halloween, and unfortunately, it was a major letdown. For the price I paid, I expected something at least wearable, but the quality just wasn't there. The costume itself is incredibly flimsy and lacks any real sturdiness; it felt like it could fall apart at any moment. The accessories were the biggest issue, though. The included wig was such a tangled mess that I had to go out and buy a completely new one just to make the outfit work. To top it off, the hat was packed so poorly that it was permanently misshapen and totally unusable. Overall, this was quite a disappointment, and I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a costume that lasts more than an hour. ... show more
