For what they cost these are an awesome alternative to the very expensive drybrushes that are the standard for miniatures.

These paint brushes seem to be of a really good quality. To be fair, I did not get them for painting miniatures as they are described, but I tend to like working with brushes designed for that in general painting. I did use them to paint a few little sculptures I’ve made to test how they work for miniature painting as well. The paint loads onto the brush well, as they are pretty thick. For drybrushing, they worked really well, and hit the raised details easily without falling into the crevices. The detail brushes, well, worked well to add details just fine. The build quality is also nice, as they aren’t really flimsy feeling. I don’t think these will last a week, then fall apart at all. Similarly, they were packaged nicely, and nothing came with any bent or out of place bristles like I have seen before. The only real downside to me is that the bristles on a few are white. In my experience, that means they will get stained at some point. This doesn’t change the function at all so I am not adding this into my rating, but it can make things a little trickier when seeing how much paint is on the brush visually when you want just a very small amount. Conversely, the white is very nice when it's still white to tell that paint amount visually. Overall I would really recommend these brushes, whether it’s because you have details to drybrush or whether you just want to paint with them normally.

I love these paintbrushes. They are very thin some of them which helps make for detailed work and fine fine art easy to clean. They tell you what exactly they’re used for and I would recommend them.

I like 3D printing miniatures and painting them to look as realistic as possible when they're done. I use different methods of painting, aside from the standard apply-paint-with-brush method. I often use an airbrush to apply paint to larger areas of my figurines, I then go over that with several different, fine-tipped brushes for added detail before finally using dry brush to add the final touches to machinery and background scenery. This set of dry brushes is really good! The brushes are packaged well, they're made with quality materials (they're not chintzy, plastic, classroom-grade brushes), they hold and apply their paints as I need, and they clean up without bristles falling out. Honestly, this is a great set of dry brushes and I highly recommend them for hobbyists like me.
