  • sturdy, adjustable, compact
Color: Blue
this is exactly as pictured. great practice pad. The included 5A sticks are really light, I use regular sticks instead.

  • Love this lightweight kit!
Color: Grey
Love it! At the time of this review, the set is $30. I’ve been drumming for over 25 years and I’m familiar with a lot of different products and all the name brand drum companies. If you drum as well, you know that this is not a familiar brand name so for that reason, I was skeptical about its value. You’re getting three 5A pairs of sticks, the practice pad, an adjustable stand, AND a carrying case that has a divider in the middle so you can keep the drum pad separate from the hardware. That’s awesome for $30. The sticks are totally fine for this use case, but I probably wouldn’t play any shows with them, obviously. The drum pad feels similar to the Evans pad, and the stand base can open up wide enough to help with stability. I liked how the feet on the stand were not a very soft rubber, but we’re sort of in between soft and hard, so it did well for an extended period of time while drumming on the hardwood floor and on a rug. There was great rebound on the drum pad and it felt similar to a couple different brands I’ve used. There’s a few different brands for this type of kit and what I really like about this kit that’s different than others is how large the bag is. You can see from my photo of that. There’s plenty of room for what comes in this kit and extra room for anything else you might wanna carry in this bag, like a music book of drum rudiments or something similar in size. Another thing is that this isn’t a traditional drum stand so that helps make this kit lighter to carry around. Drum stands can add a lot of weight to a kit that’s meant to be portable so if you’re gifting this to a kid, I think you should take that into consideration because they’re not gonna like lugging around a heavy bag. This is a great value and I plan on letting my kids enjoy it as well! ... show more

  • Drum practice pad

Seems to be well made and sturdy. My grandson gave it a thumbs up!

  • Good pad at a great price, but BYO sticks
Color: Grey
The GrowDaily snare practice pad is a good little kit for simple stick work. I keep it at work for tapping during bouts of downtime. It’s a good size and the included stand works well enough at keeping it where you want it. You can’t kick it over like Nirvana-era Grohl, but it works. The pad itself is mounted to MDF so keep it dry. The bottom has a felt layer so it’s muted when on a desktop or table. There’s reasonable rebound and the rubber seems like it should hold up for a while. The bag is functional, if cheap-feeling. My only gripe is that the sticks are pretty light, but you’ll want to use your regular ones anyway. So it’s worth the price for a simple, adjustable practice pad. Made in China. ... show more

  • Very nice drumming practice kit, easy to assemble
Color: Grey
I'd gotten rid of my old practice pads years ago since I have an electronic kit at home, but recently found myself needing a practice tool the keep my hands and callouses warmed up during travel. The Growdaily practice pad set came well packaged, in great shape and came with pad, stand, carrying bag and three pairs of 5a Drum Sticks. The stand was very easy to put together and collapses easily for storage or travel. The sticks, for a value set, are nice and usable. All three pairs were straight and evenly weighted. The finish was a little thin in places and a tad rough compared to quality sticks, but still a mile better than most of the economy sticks I've tried over the years. The pad felt great to practice on with a nice bounce and the large surface is perfect for practice. ... show more

  • Very Good Beginner Option for the Price
Color: Grey
This is a solid stand and pad. It comes with 3 pairs of decent sticks (not weight-matched or pitch matched, but still decent) and a bag for everything. The stand is lightweight aluminum, and the connection to the pad is not the typical universal size, so if you feel like you'll go through pads quickly, this would be a drawback. The wooden board that the pad is attached to is particle board. The pad itself is a bit denser, so the sound is less resonant and it doesn't bounce back as much. But it's still a good choice at this price point ($30 at the time of review), especially for a beginner. The 3 sets of sticks are easily worth $9 alone! ... show more

  • fun way to practice
Color: Grey
This is a great way to try out drums without investing in an actual drum set. It isn't as loud and likely won't upset the neighbors. It also serves as a great outlet for anyone who needs to relieve some tension. The set comes with the practice pad, 3 sets of drumsticks, carrying bag, and stand. I felt the quality was good for what it is. ... show more
