Description

Alesis Strike Amp 8 МK2 is a high-performance bi-amped speaker designed for electronic drums and multipad instruments. It outputs a massive 2000 watts, so you have enough headroom for any performance or rehearsal. The heavy-duty 8" woofer and high-frequency compression driver with computer-optimized waveguide are tuned for a flat response across the spectrum. Strike Amp 8’s exceptional frequency range (130dB SPL; 52-20kHz) is wide enough to deliver the thump of your kick drum right up to the snap of your Hi Hat. Strike Amp 8 features two combo XLR + 1/4" inputs, each with independent volume controls. You can connect a mobile device via Bluetooth and stream music at rehearsal or during set breaks. There is also an XLR output for chaining more than one speaker together or sending the signal out to a front-of-house mix. Strike Amp 8 is rugged yet lightweight and portable (at 21 lbs) making gig load-ins easier than ever. While you can use Strike Amp 8 in its intended wedge position, its versatile design means that it can also be used in an upright or pole-mounted position, making it easier to direct your sound wherever you need it.

  • Great product
Style: with Bluetooth Size: 8 inch Woofer
I’ve had this product for almost a year, haven’t had any issues with it. I’ve plugged instruments straight into it, and I’ve used a sound board. It works great with everything, and the Bluetooth feature is super useful and simple to use. Plugging a mic straight in tends to be a little quiet, but works fine if you run it through an audio interface. Makes for a great monitor, but can also be used as a loudspeaker when necessary. It has a nice carrying handle, and it can take a hit. 10/10 would recommend, and probably will buy again. ... show more

  • Great updates from the 2000w units, but be aware of volume issue
Style: with Bluetooth Size: 12 inch Woofer
I bought these recently to upgrade from my 2000w Alesis Strike amps that I purchased with my Strike Pro SE. I play professionally and have thoroughly enjoyed the original Alesis amps. The positives of these 2500w units are: the shape - the new monitor shape makes a huge difference in being able to face one up at me and one out at the audience. With the old units, I would have to wedge them somehow to get them facing at the right angle. Also, the Bluetooth connection is great to start break music from my phone without any wiring issues. Just be aware of which speaker you are connecting to. The blue light on the front is nice too. Tells me they're on without checking out back. The output feature is also nice. I can run signal out of the speakers and into mains if I need to without trying to figure out some Y connector rig up. Finally, on the plus side, the overall sound is an improvement. Definitely not as harsh in the mids and highs, and the low end is more solid. The negative: headroom is greatly reduced in these units. I had to reconfigure all of my output volumes to even get close to the 7.5 that I ran the old volumes at. These amps are definitely lower output volumes. I still have the 2000w units and have A/B'd them in my studio. No contest. The older units are louder. That's a big deal when you're trying to cut through the rest of your power trio. Before the first gig with these new units I almost thought I couldn't use them because of the volume issue. Overall, after dialing them in, most changes are positive. Rock on! ... show more

  • Sufficient
Style: no Bluetooth Size: 3 inch Woofer
Item is well made and mounts to your Alesis rack easily. It's very compact and easy to pack. It's sufficient, not too powerful, though. That being said, this is best for personal use. Can play along with loud music in a room, not much more than that.

  • boom boom bang
Style: with Bluetooth Size: 12 inch Woofer
This review is for the 12 inch speaker amp, My Alesis drums sound pretty good, lots of lower end, higher end, and everything in between. To be good and loud I have to crank it to ten. Bluetooth from my phone playing music is crazy loud, I've only put it to like 7 or 8 max, didnt even want to try louder than that. so much boom from that 12 inch sp.. Playing along with music thru it is soo much fun, holy hell. The cabinet is beefy and heavy, two awesome handles for packing it around. I can only imagine having two of these in stereo,, I got a "like new" one, which was brand new, just a slightly beat up box, but it was well packed and protected with foam, not a scratch. WOW. Im happy with this purchase. I haven't tried a mic thru it yet, or guitar tho. ... show more

  • Stage ready!
Style: with Bluetooth Size: 12 inch Woofer
Sounds awesome about the cheap version first and had no base. This one is awesome stage ready! And yes, volume could be much better on this! If you played a gig somewhere, you would definitely need two of these at least!

  • Not what we were hoping for..
Style: no Bluetooth Size: 3 inch Woofer
Bought for an electronic drum set. Good setup ability as far as how it attached to the frame. Not nearly loud enough. Even though it was a small amount of wattage, was hoping it would at least have a little heart, and it did not. Ended up buying some decent quality headphones and was a much better option ... show more
