Got this for my older brother, who had given up the drums once he became ill. He sold his drum set long ago. So that means he hasn't picked it up and over 20 years. Like the idea that it came with a stand and the drumsticks so I wouldn't have to buy those. So for the money it was well worth it. With the stand he could take it anywhere in the house and even outside the house if we choose haha. So it's definitely portable it's great for on the go. I like the quality. I'm considering getting one for myself. I don't have to say the noise level is moderate because for the most part he's in his room playing on his bed. I guess if he used the stand I would probably hear it more. But it's kind of quiet right now. He has a couple of drumming books that I ordered for him so that he could refresh himself. And it's working out great. He's happy and I'm happy. I would definitely recommend
