This has been fun for the whole family really. This was ordered initially because someone in our house has a thing that they had some drumsticks they banged on everything under creation when they needed to mentally veg and this was thought to be a good alternative, and it has been, but some of the kids have started taking turns and sharing it when it's not in use and it's become a popular thing in our house. There is still a bit of noise with a drum pad as expected, but it saves noise and is fully adjustable, has convenient cases to put things in when not in use, and the stand itself is really sturdy. Overall recommend this product 100%

This is a nice little practice kit. The pad is a thick, heavy chunk of wood with a rubber pad on one side, and anti-slip foam on the back so it can also be used on a table. Rebound is good, especially if you use a heavier pair of sticks than the ones that come with with this set. A couple of removable rubber stick tips are included if you want more bounce and less noise. The pad comes with its own bag, so it's easy to carry around if that's the only piece you take with you. The stand is a solid double-braced snare stand. It can be adjusted to fit most users, from children to adults, sitting or standing. A nice feature is the memory clamp, so you don't have to reset the height every time you set it up. The stand comes with its own zippered case , which is adequate except for the flimsy handle. Another addition is a drum key in a small pouch. Three pairs of sticks are included, but you might want to consider using your own because these sticks are too light in weight to get a proper rebound on the pad. Using them feels like work. The size looks like 2B, but they aren't weighted like 2Bs. However, the included drum stick holder and mount are definitely keepers, and will get a lot of use. This pad is quieter than many, and the noise level is even lower if the optional rubber tips are used.
