  • WOW
ignore the 1 star dude, i have the biggest freaking head and i was able to fit this onto my noggin, usually most headphones are maxed out but these fit me decent enough (can hurt after 3 hours), and comparing any koss to these is criminal since koss is very treble forward, while the Grell OAE-1 is more Dark, but it still sounds insanely natural and real with certain tracks, im running this off a Fiio M27 (great dap), and it probably sits next to my Arya Stealth, and Fidelio X3 as one of my Top 3 Headphones, bass is super impressive for an open back, and detailing is great, for 67$ its an insane value that should be snagged, i got a friend to snag a pair and they freaking love it the sound is very, Surreal? like instead of it sounding like a pair of headphones, it sounds more like your in the same room as the audience, the angled drivers allow the center image to hit differently, like vocals will sound very raw and realistic, and even some slight edges to instruments can shine a bit better, and the bass can be very very flowy and watery, but very impactful when it needs to be, the bass can morph, it can be very crisp and boomy and then be tight, and then be subwoofy, its crazy how good the sound is for 67$ dont compare these to Koss, their both completely different sounds, this is darker, but overtime will start to sound super super natural with most tracks also played helldivers 2 with these, they were weirdly better to use than my Fiio FT1 for gaming ... show more

  • For the price, they are unique and fun to listen to
I will just start out by saying these leak sound and do require a decent power source to sound their best. If you are ok with that and looking for headphones to enjoy music, then these are good. They are not for reference sound but rather a fun sound. There is a strong bass and an interesting wide soundstage that makes these headphones fun to listen to. It has a very unique sound stage compared to any other headphone I have tried. The extra bass really thumps so if you like to have a strong bass and feel the beats more, you'll like these. I recommend listening to them for a while too. They sound weird at first but after a bit of time and your ears adapt they become much more pleasant sounding. For the price they are an affordable way to have headphones you can have a fun listening session with, with the heightened bass. ... show more

  • It's probably okay for the price if you wear a size 7 hat or smaller.
Size 7 is a guess--US size. I wear about 7 5/8 or or 7 3/4 depending on how long my hair is, and at max extension and pressing on my crown, this still doesn't really fit. Additionally the clamping force is very noticeable--possibly more so because to get anything resembling a fit requires pressure in an arc from ear to ear over the top of my head, and the cups can't quite encapsulate my earlobes--maybe if I tucked them in, but that's obviously even more uncomfortable. As for the sound--murky and bloated for me, but that might be because I can't get a good fit. Treble feels dead and the mids are on life support. Another note on the adjustability, there's maybe, *maybe* as much as a quarter inch of adjustment between the both sides. Sliding it out or pushing it in, the change is barely perceptible. The click as it hits the end of the arm's run is more noticeable than the change in length of the arm. They look great though, save for the absurd socket for the cable to go into. I have no idea why anyone would put such a thing as it makes it harder to be sure you've seated the cable, and it reduces the ability to get replacement cables for no clear advantage. It also means that in normal use it looks like you're missing half the cable because it only connects on one side. While it is nice you can choose which side to plug the cable into, having that socket hanging empty looks ugly. Far better to have a flush jack that at most is a flash of silver where the cable isn't connected. For this money, buy some Koss Porta/Sporta Pros and replace the stock pads with Yaxi's. More comfortable, more and better sound all around for less money, though they are on ear and don't have a detachable cable--but a better value. ... show more
