This drone is easy to set up and get connected and after just a few test runs my 12 year old was able to successfully fly it. This drone flys smoothly, and has many fail safe features as well as calibration abilities. Its had its fair share of crashes and has endured them without damage. It comes with 3 batteries that charge pretty quickly for endless fun. . I would recommend this drone for big kids as well as adults and I would purchase again for another kid or as a gift.

This drone presents a fascinating paradox: it excels in superficial aspects but falters significantly in its core function – flight control. From an aesthetic standpoint, this drone genuinely looks good. Its sleek, aerodynamic design immediately catches the eye, suggesting a high-performance machine. The materials used feel premium to the touch, giving it a robust and durable impression, not flimsy like some other drones in its price range. The lines are clean, and the finish is well-executed, making it a visually appealing piece of technology that you'd be proud to show off. Complementing its visual appeal is its impressive audio profile. When powered on, the drone sounds good, emitting a low, purposeful hum rather than an irritating whine. The motors spool up with a satisfying, almost futuristic whir that speaks to their power and efficiency. Even at higher speeds, the noise remains surprisingly subdued, which is a definite plus for flying in quieter environments or for capturing video without excessive motor noise interference. Performance-wise, there's no denying its raw power; this drone moves fast. It accelerates with remarkable agility and can cover significant distances in a short amount of time. This speed initially feels exhilarating, promising dynamic aerial maneuvers and thrilling flight experiences. However, this is where the positive aspects unfortunately begin to unravel. Despite its speed, the drone is very hard to fly. The responsiveness of the controls feels overly sensitive, making even minor adjustments result in drastic shifts in direction or altitude. There's a significant lack of precision, making it incredibly challenging to execute smooth turns or maintain a consistent flight path. It feels less like piloting a sophisticated aircraft and more like wrestling with an untamed beast. This extreme sensitivity, combined with what appears to be a deficiency in its stabilization system, leads to constant overcorrections from the pilot, turning what should be an enjoyable flight into a frustrating struggle. A major contributing factor to the difficulty in control is that it does not stay in place when you want it to fly easily. Unlike other drones that can utilize GPS or optical flow sensors to hold a stable hover, this model drifts significantly, even in calm conditions. Attempting to simply hold it still in the air requires constant, minute adjustments on the controls, which is mentally taxing and detracts entirely from the flying experience. This lack of reliable positional hold makes it nearly impossible to capture steady aerial footage or even to simply practice basic maneuvers without the drone constantly veering off course. My disappointment is amplified by the fact that I have had similarly priced drones that were easy to control and move around. These comparable models, without costing significantly more, offered intuitive controls, robust stabilization features, and the ability to confidently maintain a hover or follow a predictable flight path. This experience sets a clear benchmark, highlighting the significant gap in user-friendliness and flight stability that this particular drone exhibits. While its looks and speed are certainly admirable, the fundamental difficulty in piloting it makes it a frustrating experience for anyone seeking a drone that is both capable and enjoyable to fly. It feels like a product that prioritizes raw power and aesthetics over the essential user experience of stable and controllable flight.
