This Mini Camera Drone Quadcopter has many of the features that used to only be found on high end quadcopters like Altitude hold, one key takeoff/landing etc. This is also a relatively safe drone for beginners and younger people because it is so small. The drone comes with a nice protective travel case and spare props, prop guards and two batteries for extended fly time. Each battery has about a seven minute fly time which doesn't sound like a lot but you can have a lot of fun with it in seven minutes. Consider that the average song on the radio is about three minutes this will give you and idea of how long that is when you are engaged and focused on something like flying a drone. The picture quality is not stellar but I think it is quite good considering the price point and size of this quadcopter. And while the video can be jumpy due to the micro size of this unit you can still use it to survey your roof or higher places and get unique perspectives on your surroundings. This would make a great gift for anyone who likes gadgets but a mature teen would likely be thrilled with it. Even though it is an easy quadcopter to fly, it is still probably not suited for a young child because it is so fragile. Overall this little drone was better than I was expecting at this price point and more fun than I have had in a long time with a small drone.

If you have someone who has any interest in drones but doesn't yet want to make the commitment to something super expensive. I think this drone can fill the space until then. While this drone is nothing to write home about, it does have some pretty fun feature, albeit a little questionable in consistency. However, once it's set up, I was able to fly it safely in a small room. The design of the drone is unlike what I typically see. This has a large protrusion on the top whereas many drones are seemingly flat. I like this because if you fly the drone up too fast the top of it hits before the blades, so in a way it provides a little bump protection. I like the design more so because it looks unique amongst other drones. If you are planning to use this, expect to use your phone for the controller. While a controller is provided, I was never able to get it to work in any fashion other than sending the drone up into oblivion. It was like it has no control at all, or all of the control at once. So, I'd say stick to just using the phone, and enjoy using the camera. Speaking of the camera. Do not expect any quality results from this device. The camera is a perk for you to see thing generally. The camera is not crisp and it is akin to what cameras were when they started to appear on phones. It gets the job done, but don't expect crisp imagery. Aside from those little things, I think this is still a fun little drone, and if you are looking into getting into the hobby and whatnot I think this is a fine start for the time being.

I never understand why drone companies advertise a level of video resolution that they simply don't deliver on. Case in point, the Waktuk mini drone (with, surprisingly no model number) is said to have 1080p video which it clearly doesn't. The video resolution issue is further frustrated by the fact that the 720p resolution (1280 X 720 at 970 kbps and 30 fps is actually not at all terrible) is kind of jumpy due to the small nature of the drone, but serviceable. Some credible description would help this drone a great deal. Flight time is 7 minutes with an approx. 40 second warning beep at low battery level until it shuts down, which is decent for the 3.7 Volt 600 mah batteries (you get two, so that's 14 minutes of combined safe flight. Don't expect smooth video, but on the other hand the image is decent and color reproduction is well balanced. The camera can be MANUALLY adjusted up or down, but not with the remote. A pretty decent indoor drone that should fly well in low-wind conditions outside. There's only one poorly located led light, so not good for low-light conditions.

This little drone flies pretty well. Pulling both control sticks down to the extreme left and right resets the drone after a crash so it won’t drift. Because it’s small, the wind does carry it a bit. The app for iOS (all I could test) is a nice app and it is easy to setup and use for recording video and shooting photos as well as for takeoff and landing. The camera has no gimbal and moves with the drone so the images are often filmed at various angles as the drone moves. The video is 1080p but there are no filters or fancy features to reduce the lens glare and other issues. Flying and filming in the Florida sun makes for some very poor footage. It’s definitely a cool toy – but that’s about it.

Cute, small drone with remote control; looks fine out of the box, but I haven't flown it yet. I am a novice, and want my son, who has flown drones (expensive ones) for years, to help me with this. I know they can be easily trashed and crashed right off the bat, if you don't know what you're doing. So, I wanted to at least place a review stating I got it, and it looks good. I will update this when I've flown the drone. As with all my reviews when I have only confirmed receipt of item, unboxed and inspected it to make sure the item is as advertised, I will update the review if any issues are noted upon installation, or if it fails to meet expectations.

This is a tiny drone. Is there a class called Micro-drones? None-the-less it's pretty cool. Fun to learn to fly. Has an ok camera, nothing great but a working camera! Perfect for kids and beginner (adults/big kids) drone pilots. Helps to learn how to fly, learn orientation, application of throttle, etc. Much more enjoyable than I expected, hope the kids don't want to fly it when it's my turn!
