One area that could use improvement is the propeller protectors. They feel quite fragile, and during installation, I accidentally broke one while trying to attach another. They don’t seem durable enough to handle much pressure, so you’ll want to be very careful when assembling or disassembling them. I also ran into some confusion when trying to prepare the drone for indoor flying. Disabling the GPS function is necessary for indoor use, but the instructions were not very clear on how to do this. It took a bit of trial and error, but eventually I figured it out. Clearer guidance in the manual would definitely help beginners avoid frustration in this area. Despite those minor issues, I would still recommend this drone for beginners. It’s easy to control, not overly sensitive to inputs, and generally flies very well once you get everything set up. This is a great drone for the price – super easy to fly! I was honestly surprised by how much I like this drone. I’m still pretty new to flying drones, but this one made it really easy to learn. The GPS features are super helpful—especially the auto return. I lost signal once and it came right back to me without any drama. Huge relief. The 2K camera is really clear and smooth, and I love that I can adjust the angle with the remote. It’s fun to mess around with the different flight modes like Follow Me and Circle Fly. Makes getting cool footage way easier than trying to fly and film at the same time. Battery life is solid—I get around 30 minutes using the two batteries, and they’re quick to swap out. It’s also lightweight and folds up nice, so I’ve been throwing it in my backpack when we go hiking or camping. One of the best parts? No FAA registration needed. Just charge it up and go. If you’re looking for something that’s not super expensive but still has all the cool features, this is a great choice.     • Expensive features at an affordable price!
I love this drone! I will also preface this review with the fact that I have had two previous drones this size, both of which are incredible. Each drone I get has improved features as technology evolves over time. First, this drone comes with its own case, which I love. You get a couple batteries that have great flight time and don’t take long to recharge. It’s extremely easy to fly (my 13 year old son loves how easy it is). We recently went on vacation on the shore of a large lake which has fairly steady winds consistently. I mentioned earlier about features that evolve in these drones as time goes by and this drone has stabilization when flying in windier conditions. The video quality is excellent and the instructions walk you through installing the video app on your smart device so you have a live view from the drone’s camera to your device as you fly. I highly recommend this drone as it has many of the same features as more expensive drones but at a much more affordable price. This drone is definitely getting A LOT of flight time in the coming months. Buy this drone with confidence. ... show more
