I purchased this for my husband for Fathers Day with pretty high expectations after reading the reviews. This item came very nicely packaged. I has a carry and storage case and folds up nicely. This drone even has guards for the wings for new learners to prevent the wings from becoming damaged. However, the app that is required for setup was very spotty and only worked approximately 20% of the time, making set up very difficult. With the app not working properly for set up, it made it very difficult to do anything else with the drone. The drone could be flown with the remote, but connecting the phone or camera to it was useless, which was the entire point of getting this drone. My husband has other drones, but they don't have camera options so he was really excited for this one. He worked with it for several hours and days, searching youtube and reviews for help before calling it quits. Unfortunately we are out of luck with this item because it was purchased a month and a half before Fathers Day so by the time he opened his gift, the 30 day return window had already closed.

The package was delivered promptly. It was easy to set up and get it up and flying. However, do not expect it to be up for 26 minutes, even if you divide it into two batteries. With easy maneuvers, a fully charged battery will operate for around 7-8 minutes. Also, do not expect it to return to the starting point. It will just lend vertically when you push the lend button or when it runs out of battery. Please do not attempt to operate it outside in any wind. It has very low wind resistance. If you lose connection with the drone, it will fly away. It is mainly an indoor toy. Therefore, it is suitable for beginners to start learning how to operate a drone in a safe environment in a very short range. As for the filming, you can achieve as much as a very short flight time and range. The seller has decent customer service and should be able to provide additional information.

This is a very accessible drone, especially for those who haven’t flown one before or who are just getting into the hobby. I like that it comes in a compact case with all the accessories and that it connects easily to your phone for the camera view and extra control. The flying itself is very intuitive and makes drone flying fun and easy for even our little kids. The battery life is very impressive and I love that it comes with an extra. We have flown it briefly multiple times after fully charging and the battery is still over half full. I will say that I live in a windy location and I have to be careful not to fly the drone too high or else the wind could carry it away. I’m not sure if this is typical for all drone flying, but it certainly is of this model. That said, it is stable overall when it flies and holds its own against a light breeze. If you need a professional drone or are looking for a very high-end model, this probably isn’t for you because it’s simple and doesn’t have a lot of fluff. But for a family who is just experimenting with drone flying, this is a perfect option to have fun and not get frustrated with quality and user experience.
