I recently picked up the JY02 Foldable Drone and have been pleasantly surprised by what it offers, especially at this price point. The altitude hold and headless mode make it really easy to control, and the foldable design is super convenient for travel or quick storage. I also like the extra features like one-key takeoff/landing and the low battery alarm, which helps avoid crashes. The WiFi connection was smooth and the app was simple enough to navigate. Battery life is okay — not super long, but enough for a few solid flights. Only downside: it can get a little unstable in windy conditions, so I’d recommend flying it on calm days, especially if you’re a beginner. Overall, a solid choice for anyone new to drones or just looking for a fun little flyer that won’t break the bank!

This is a nice inexpensive drone that is easy to set up and use. The set up consists of charging the drone batteries (they give you 2), installing the blade guards, putting batteries in the control unit, and then downloading the app and setting up a logon. Once everything was setup, it was quick and easy to get flying. The controller has some "quick" function buttons that make it easy to launch or land without fuss. With the quick launch and no wind, the drone rises and hovers, waiting for controller inputs to move it about. There are a few directional controls to learn and use, but there's an overlay card for the controller that helps identify the controls you need. After about 10 minutes practice, it was possible to fly the drone around without too much trouble. Still learning to do more complex maneuvers, but so far it's been pretty easy and fun to fly it around!

This is one fantastic drone! The app used to help you setup and use it is well thought out and makes it easy for a first time user of any drone. The controller it comes with is smooth for the price and is lightweight. When you add your phone to the controller for the camera and app usage it gets a little heavy but feels stable in the hand. If you’re a first time drone user or just looking for a drone that won’t break the bank look no further!

I received this drone last night and immediately put the two batteries that came with it on the charger. Here are some initial observations before even using this thing: 1. It comes with a very nice zippered case 2. Not only does it come with two batteries, which most of the drones seem to have, but it also has two charging cables so that you can have them both ready at the same time. 3. Downloading the app, creating an account and setting it up was simple. I just installed the batteries and took it outside for a test run. This drone is very stable. With no adjustments at all, it hovers right where you left it. Control is a breeze. One button take off and landing is a nice feature, which you don't have to use if you don't want to. The quality of the video is also very good. Seems to be high definition. I've had several drones over the years, and this is by far the easiest one to use. I highly recommend it, and I don't think you can do better for the price.
