Love this drone. Fairly easy to set up and get flying. The camera takes good pics and video, and the drone itself is easy to control. You do have to do the compass and gyro calibrations every time, but they are quick and easy, and the gyroscopic feature means you DONT have to spend half your battery just getting the thing trimmed up and stable, LOVE that. Within a few moments of taking off, we had several strong gusts of wind, and the drone automatically leaned into the wind and held its position. Very impressed. ... show more

I'm as novice w/ drones as you can get - I've seen them operated in person, but had no previous experience with them myself. I tried this one out for a little bit (on a lunch break), my first ever attempt. ...I have a lot of practicing to do, LOL. BUT: AS someone w/ no prior drone experience, this one was kinda fun, and I'll definitely use it again! I was impressed with the bag it came in inside the box and its presentation - what a neat setup! The size was not too big (not too intimidating), it seems to be built sturdy enough (...I may have lightly hit the ground a couple times - 100% MY fault, not the drone's), and it seems to fly very smoothly. It came with a few extra propellers (just in case), which was nice, as well as 2 rechargeable batteries for the drone itself (the remote control has its own built in). The user manual seemed thorough - though for a complete novice like myself, it took a few reads to get a basic understanding of what I was reading (it wasn't awful/extremely complicated, I just wanted to be sure I was understanding everything correctly). If there was anything I wasn't a HUGE fan of, it was just that the short time I used my phone with the remote control, my phone battery went from around 85% to around 55% (this was at most, about 20-30min). I understand that having the phone screen on is going to drain the battery, but that much that fast? ...And this could just be a 'normal drone use thing', I don't know - as I've said, I'm still very new at this. All that said - I really did enjoy playing with this drone and will definitely continue to play around with it. I think it's a great one for people with at least a little drone experience, but can be enjoyed by us 'n00bs' as well, lol. Not too expensive and great to 'get your feet wet' or just enjoy a fun time! ... show more

This is a great drone! It is easy to operate and the camera is very good. The camera takes good, clear pictures. It is compact and the range is pretty good. The flight capability is also nice, it's very quick to setup, connect and start flying!
