    • MAJOR DESIGN FLAW!!!
I didn't notice until I tried it for the first time, but the release pin on this piece of junk isn't centered. I have a DJI Mini SE, which is very small. With the load I'm trying to drop deliberately designed to be off-center, the drone goes sideways and out of control. I destroyed a few propeller blades trying to land it. I read the instructions and followed them to the letter. The mechanism will not consistently lock or release when pushing the buttons on the remote. I will be returning this item. EDIT I bought a second one hoping the first one that didn’t work was a fluke. The second one worked for a while and now the release does not respond. Strike two and there won’t be a chance for a third. DO NOT BUY! ... show more

It seems to work well playing with it in my hand but I haven't learned how to fly my new drone yet to actually try to use drop lock?? It reacts fast when pushing the car alarm shaped remote comes with two little snap hooks on what looks to be kevlar string tied on a loop in sure it will work just fine as long as the distance of connection is similar to the distance of the remote of drone??? I will update this review when I can provide more actual knowledge about it.. ... show more

    • The power cord melted and almost started a fire in my kitchen

I plugged it in and the cord started to heat up. Within 5 minutes the cord was smoking and melted. Fortunately I was here and paid attention. Other than that the function worked on my mini 3 pro once . Since I cannot charge it now I am not sure how well it works overall.

I ordered 2 of these. One died after 1st use and 2nd one gets so hot charging that in afraid it's going to explode. I have 3 other brands that work great (just not long battery) so I have something to compare to.
