The driveway sensors work great in any weather condition. They pick up on some of the smallest things, like all the little lizards I have running around setting them off especially during the day. But they work great I'm happy with my purchase, in fact I just ordered 2 more sensors since you can attach 5 sensors per receiver. Will probably purchase more in the future.

Not sure if where we placed or batteries but the alarm chimed non stop during a snow melting. We unplugged it and replaced the batteries and works great now. Edit: Not sure again if its the location, but this chimed like 10 times in a row with no-one pulling in/out of my driveway. When I did actually have a car pull in it worked, but after they pulled out and were across the road it went off again. Love the thought behind the alert but not sure I'm keeping this.

We have a driveway that is not readily visible from the inside of the house. This alarm works wonderfully at notifying us of a vehicle, person or even a critter who has entered our driveway. The chime options are great and we love the quality of the sound. The addition of a blue flashing light helps us to recognize and alert to the presence of someone/something at our drive, too. I believe this is a great purchase for anyone. The price if very acceptable, as well.

The sensors were paired when I turned it on but I tried to change the ring tone for each sensor and messed things up. Now it won't work. I tried and tried to re-pair. Finally I found a web page telling me to hold the pairing button for 5 seconds to swipe clean (void) the old pairing program. Then follow instructions to pair by holding the button for 30 second. No place in the instructions did it tell me to do that. The 5 seconds is the secret to swipe clean. I'm still not sure if you can have a different ring for each device. The real test will be when I have a chance to place it outside.
