The frame support is already put together. It arrives folded in a large box. You just have to swing them in to place and snap them together at the desired height. We're using this for my elderly mother who recently broke her ankle and is virtually incapacitated as we wait for surgery. She's 5'3 and weighs 180. It's a perfect fit for her. I highly recommend this product for the price and ease of assembly. P.S. buy some bags.

i bought this to help take care of my Grandma who started to decline in mobility this year 2023. she has had knee replacements, hip replacements, scoliosis of the lower spine, and a bunch of other maladies that make moving around very painful. this commode was very helpful. its light and easy to move around, yet strong enough for her to use when needed. as far as stability and sturdiness are concerned, well, its ok. its robust enough for our needs, but if you weigh more than, say, 180lbs, id look for something more sturdy. its not bad for a small and skinny old woman of 90 years.

This commode has been a lifesaver for my Mom. It's easy to put together and have ready by the bedside. It's pretty sturdy. My Mom has balance issues and she's never had a problem with it tipping over. However, she's very lightweight (5 4' and 80lbs.) so it's not saying much. 😊 I was worried about the plastic staining but it hasn't. We've had this commode for almost 3 years without any issues. I recommend this for anyone who has trouble getting to the bathroom.

This bedside commode is probably pretty standard. Very easy to put together. The only thing that puzzles and concerns me is the toilet seat just rests on the bar in the back between the seat clips. It doesn’t clip on the back bar. I’m wondering why not. So far it hasn’t been an issue but I question why it not connected to the seat and more secure.
