I was going out of town for two and a half weeks for the holidays and was not sure what to do about all of my plants! I have probably 10-15 plants and I was shocked at how long the tube was and how easy it was to set up. Be cautious when setting it up only because I accidentally put it on manual mode and it just kept watering š aside from that, itās awesome, has a lot of settings, and can water a lot of plants at once!!! Recommend!

I ordered this to try and keep my houseplants alive while on a 3 week vacation. I ordered 2, one for inside and one for outside. I found the setup a little confusing, but not impossible. Once fully assembled, with emitters and probes, it can be awkward to handle (and messy!), but is basically a drip system as I have in my yard. We bought 5 gallon buckets with lids and drilled 2 holes in the tops for the wires and hoses. Since I did not trust this system on my wood floors unsupervised (correctly), I moved all my plants into a large shower with good natural lighting. The system did work, the issue was with controlling the amount of water from each emitter. Since there are no markings on the control valves and considering the flow changes with distance from the pump, it is rather hit of miss. It mostly worked. I removed saucers from the plants so the excess water would drain, set the timer for 7 minutes once a week and hoped for the best. I did lose one plant, from overwatering. The rest survived, some doing better than others, but are salvageable. I would use the system again, hoping for better water control next time. There were sufficient pieces and couplers as well as hose that I could modify it for future use. I would place the largest plants closest to the pump and use minimal water settings for most. It is easier to rescue a dryer plant than a water logged one. The outside was very successful with the same settings, but had fewer plants on the system (5), as opposed to the indoor (14). Itās a workable solution for long trips. Not perfect, but it worked.

When I returned from 6 days away, none of the plants had been watered at all. The reservoir was at the exact same level as before, despite my having spent hours learning the system, setting it up, and testing it. The pump is puny but seems adequate for my 3 plants in a 1 square meter space. Itās the *controller* and the written instructions and the non-existent customer service contact that are the major weaknesses. Nice connectors and silicone hose, no leaks, and the adjustable drippers is a good idea. But between the confusing and poorly translated written instructions, the ridiculous controller (junk), and the ācustomer serviceā email address that is ignored, you should just save your money. I had read numerous negative reviews but assumed the buyers just didnāt know how to set it up correctly. Perhaps I was wrong. Youāve been warned!

Does it all for me. Only con was a siphoning problem but I fixed that- see pic. Just added a dripper at the rim of the water to break the syphon. Pump is weak but its pushing into a 3/8 ,inch line to 1/4 lines so it doesn't need to be strong. I set it to f5. The closest drippers need to be closed to slow drip and then do the same down the line. Slower drip for longer span. Parts are all quality- line, drippers, CPU strollers is easy to. For daily watering set to 0 on intervals. TO STOP THE PUMP AT ANY TIME DOUBLE TAP THE MANU-MANUAL BUTTON or unplug the pump . To run the pump manually tap the manu button one time. It will run until it is tapped again. You can upgrade the pump using 12v relays and a better 12v power supply. Thick wires and larger water feed lines to reducers. Test in cups on a table to determin how long to water and drip rates. Food taste better when you grow it.

I was hoping the water from my air conditioner could be the water source for this but the pump is so weak that I have to lift it up 4' higher than where the air conditioner outputs the water so that it can water a hanging plant that is 6' up. Also the hose isn't a full 24' long, much closer to 21'... Otherwise, I was able to get everything to work before I put them into the plants, but we'll see if that automation holds up, I'm about to go on vacation and leave the house for about 2 weeks.

I really wanted this thing to be the answer. I purchased 2 different types of the automatic watering systems. My thoughts; PROS: - adjustable nozzles/water spouts - control amount of water coming out on each one. - tubing is VERY easy to work with, no forcing connectors into tubing and getting sore thumbs. Quick setup! - t-connectors are attached to the watering nozzles - hose and nozzles come neatly organized/packaged - small unit (since the pump is separate) - Customer service is great. CONS: - if using all of the watering spouts, I couldnāt get the last 4 to pump out any water unless I shut off the first 4: I ended up using a different pump with the hose and nozzles from this unit, and it works. this unit is probably better suited for use with 1-8 nozzles, but I guess it depends on how open(how much flow) you need nozzles set toā¦
