This tap worked for me. Had to redo a cross threaded bolt hole on my Harley. Just took it slow with plenty of oil, and after a few turns I was able to restore the threads. Just take your time.

I used the tap to cut internal threads in a stainless steel 304 rod turning in a lathe. It cut 50% depth threads (0.330" tap drill) in a very slow, tedious process. Successful - OK.

It works, but it's far from a high quality tap. Broke this one off but it was mostly my fault. Tapping threads is stressful as it is, if your project can afford the setback it's a good value. If you need a high quality tap, keep looking
