  • Befitting title. The game is Phenomenal!
This game could've easily been sold for double the price and I'd still considerate to be a discount. It's THAT GOOD and I'll tell you why. On the creator side, the developer tools are top-notch. If you can imagine it, you can digitally create it. Music, art, animation and of course GAMES...Of any genre. Now, don't get me wrong, it ain't easy, in fact, like almost every other creative endeavor one undertakes, its tedious ASF. The game helps you by giving you the tools needed but the rest is on you. The controls are also stress-inducing at the beginning (waay more challenging than learning to drive, LOl). It takes patience and perseverance but anyone can master it after a few imp quests. But wait, there's more! Everybody ain't creators, right? So if that mode isn't your thing you can purchase the game to get access to thousands of other user created content. And there's some amazing stuff out there. Finally, you have the feature, Art's Dream and it is FANTASTIC! Worth the price of the game alone. Beautiful story , great music, brilliant gameplay, multi-genre...It's a masterpiece and it was all done with the same resources that the title supplies. Its like these devs/geniusus/(aliens?) were demonstrating a Jedi Master technique to students of the craft. Oh, and did I mention the music? Man, don't miss this game. Actually it's way more than a game It's what Saturday night memories are made of. Its an experience. I don't write reviews. This is a chore for me. But yo, this product deserves it. I had to give it it's due props. Keep dreaming my peoples! ... show more

  • Unleash Your Creativity with Dreams
Dreams on PlayStation 4 is a game that lets you create, play, and share your own unique creations with the world. With a vast array of tools and assets, the game allows players to unleash their creativity and bring their wildest dreams to life. One of the standout features of Dreams is its intuitive and user-friendly creation tools. Whether you're a seasoned game developer or a complete novice, the game's tools are easy to use and allow for a wide range of customization and creativity. You can create anything from a simple platformer to a fully-fledged RPG, and the only limit is your imagination. The game also features a vibrant community of creators, who share their own creations and offer feedback on others' work. This community aspect adds to the game's overall appeal, as it allows players to collaborate and learn from one another. In addition to the creation tools, the game also features a robust single-player mode, with a range of mini-games and challenges to test your skills. The game's visuals are also stunning, with a colorful and whimsical art style that adds to the overall charm of the game. While the game may not be for everyone, for those who enjoy creating and exploring the creations of others, Dreams is a must-play. The game offers endless possibilities for creativity and imagination, and the community aspect adds to the overall appeal of the game. If you're looking for a game that lets you unleash your inner artist, Dreams is definitely worth a try. ... show more

  • It's like Mario Paint on Steroids!
And you'll have to make the fly swatter game yourself.. Unless someone already did. I'll have to check now... Some of the controls are a little funky and annoying - hard to get used to, but stick with it do the tutorials and it will get a lot easier to use. There is definitely some learning curve to this game, but it is amazing once you get used to it. ... show more

  • A game for you imagination
This is an absolute marvel of a game and creation tool. Everything feels pretty intuitive. I gotta give it to Media Molecule for creating something this unique and well put together. Overall navigation is easy and the main interface is clean. I'd say, give it a try, because you won't be disappointed. Even if don't like creating stuff, there are tons of other user creations you can try and/or explore (play, view); all unique and interesting in their own way. A never-ending expanding library of user creations (aka dreams). The community support is there and I can see it growing (and growing) in the immediate future. This is a gaming experience you don't want to miss. 5/5 ... show more

  • Simply Amazing!
This is a very deep dev kit that is very easy to pick up and well thought out. Navigation using only the dualshock is good enough that move controllers are not necessary. Once you start playing around in Dreams you really get addicted to exploring all the fantastic options. While the tutorials are excellent and easy to comprehend, my only complaint is they should be a little better organized from the beginner to advanced lessons. I think Dreams is a huge milestone in the history of gaming, thanks for making something so cool! ... show more

  • Not for everyone
The tools provided are amazing and you can make or play some very impressive things. With that side the biggest setback is the games very selling point: user created content. You will play many lame games before you play any decently designed ones. When you do find something worthwhile or neat it really impresses you how much work is put into getting everything together. As for the creation aspect it is accessible enough that most people can get going on something but I personally could not get over the camera controls, there is too many movements to remember and I could not find the best control scheme between analog sticks, controller tilt, and ps move. If you are lacking in the creativity department you are likely to have minimal enjoyment with this game aside from playing other people's stuff which is a mixed bag. ... show more
