We ordered the 8 ft. Tree a couple of months ago and I finally put it up today. I do like the way the lights connect. They are a little tricky to get connected but once connected and the piece is screwed down you know that they won’t be pulled apart. I was hoping that this tree would come with a wireless remote. It has a remote that is connected to the power cord. So getting to it to turn the tree off and on will be a problem. The tree was extremely smashed into the box. Every branch and twig has to be positioned. There were no directions in the box and the sections were not numbered. So I did have a little trouble getting the pieces of the tree in the right order. The lights are very colorful. I like being able to have colored lights or white lights depending on what I want for the day. With work to shape the tree once done it is a pretty tree. I love the colors and patterns you can cycle through and it is what really makes this tree stand out. I was impressed that for a pre-lit tree i wasn't stuck with the basic always on white/colors. This one added some additional technology to allow that allowed me to change things up with different patters that changed the light combinations and whether they flashed, or glowed, or flickered between the color and white bulbs. Overall there are several modes to choose from and i appreciate the variety I was able to cycle between as the mood hits me. The tree itself is very easy to setup. It comes with a durable and sturdy metal stand and is broken down into 3 gradually decreasing in size sections. Each section sits down into the one below it. Once stood up the branches swing down into place and then all that is needed is a fluffing of the branches to fill it out. The color is a nice evergreen color which gives is a realistic look when looking at it across the room. The branch patterns and design mimic a real evergreen tree as well. The lights are very bright and colorful and have a mixture of both colors and warm white so you can setup the based on your decorations and preferences.     • Skimpy looking tree... Branches not full enough

The tree has a nice shape and is sturdy, but the branches are skimpy and shriveled looking. The tree looks better at night with the lights on, but with a variable switch to change lighting modes, everytime you turn the tree on it goes into multi-color mode This requires going under the tree to reach the switch to change to an all white mode. It needs a remote control. Also, there is no outlet be at the top of the tree for adding a lighted star tree topper. ... show more

The tree was easy to assemble and I cannot complain with the price. But some of the lights arrived broken. Also the lights are not enough on the tree and are not as bright as in the advertisement picture.

    • Arguably one of the worst trees we've ever had. Don't waste your money!!!!!

We got this tree as our old one was finally wearing out. After reading reviews, and looking at the pics we' decided this was a decent one. Now that we've set it up there are a multitude of problems. The main "trunk" of the tree is bent, causing the tree to lean dangerously. Add to that the fact that it looks more like a charlie brown tree with barely any branches, even with everything spread out, and this is one sad looking tree. We're taking this one down because it's about to fall over, and will be ordering a better one from balsimhill. They are a bit more expensive but well worth the money. This wouldn't be worth the money if it was free. Once again, leading the dangerous lean, this tree can't be set up without having a high risk of someone getting hurt or something getting broken. A lot of our ornaments are heirlooms handed down or one of a kind hand made. If they're destroyed by this tree then there is no replacing them. ... show more
