Fit and Comfort: Finding a boot that fits a true women’s size 8 can be tricky, but these fit perfectly right out of the box. Performance and Versatility: I bought these primarily for their style, but they have proven to be surprisingly functional. I’ve worn them for several hours of dancing on a hardwood floor, and the traction is just right—not too slippery, but enough to glide when needed. Outside of the dance hall, they hold up well in light snow and cold winds. The insulation keeps my feet warm without causing them to overheat during more active use. I cannot recommend these boots enough. They are so comfortable, they fit very well, and receive a ton of compliments by complete strangers at the grocery store who ask where I purchased them. I have morton's neuroma so buying these beauties in wide has been my life every year. I love the wider calf because any pant size I wear ends up looking amazing with these bad boys. That being said, I am the "Destroyer of Soles" and this is my third purchase of these boots in as many seasons. This is not to say these boots are not well-made. They are entirely of good stock, proper footing, quality construction, and attention to detail. For the normal person, these boots will last a few years depending. For me, I go to a sit-down job, five days a week, with the occasional grocery store or Target shopping walking experience, I am a ridiculously introverted homebody so I don't go out, and I am not heavy heavy footed, nor am I purposely rough on shoes, but every year I end up destroying them to the point of exploding soles. Again, I fully believe these boots will be a long-time purchase for the majority of people; they are absolutely the most perfect boots for every day that I have ever purchased. This is not a sarcastic post saying these boots will fall apart. I truly believe it's a "me" issue. I say it again: The normal folk will have these boots for many years. It is a good quality boot, sturdy, and well-made. That being said, it absolutely speaks volumes that I continually and happily buy them each year. The price is on point for such a good quality boot. There are no other boots that I have found that I enjoy as much as these. I have no other shoes that I receive so many random people compliments on. Buy the boots. If you're a fellow destroyer of soles, you'll feel like I do - Worth rebuying every year. If the makers of these boots wish to say "YES!" to my challenge, I hereby suggest they let me purchase these boots each winter, correspond with me, to make them murder proof for those of us who have absolutely no idea how they kill shoes so easily. I am a spreadsheet nerd and can provide all mileage, video proof, and other such things to test these for hard-wearers. They would make an absolute solid shoe! I say that with absolute understanding they probably can't make these soles any thicker or sturdier than they already do without making them into some kind of nuclear proof shoe.

Update: I added another star because of the EXCELLENT Customer Service!! The company saw my review and reimbursed. E for my order, I didn't even ask! What a fabulous company that stands behind their products!! Also, I have worn these many more times and they are definitely my favorite to wear with dresses because of the fuzzy lining. 😍 I got these boots last week on a Friday. Wore them to a concert, great! Warm not too uncomfortable but not too comfortable either. Wore them to work Monday, going pretty good for the 2nd wear. The third time I wore them to work, in an office, I scuffed them down past the finish. 😩 I already tossed to box so I can't return them.. I didn't have high expectations, BUT I did NOT expect them to not damage so easy. I'm sure the scuff is from the feet of my office chair, because I always seem to have my feet perched on them... but still - THREE days of wear; two of which in office. Pros: cute, warm, as they are fur lined, enough room in the feet to wear heavy socks or boot socks with them, with the fur lining on the legs they would be great with a dress in the winter. Cons: scratch easy, I work in an office, and this happened.. of you're only wearing them for dress and not multiple times a week they might last you a season. I will try to put black shoe polish over the scuffed part, but I am a little disappointed they didn't make it longer than a week or three wears!

Like the boots. I was worried about the calves, but fortunately they fit just right. I am an 8 wide, ordered 8.5 and it was just barely right in the foot, slightly tight but I think it will loosen with wear. My calves are 17.5" and also fit just right over thick leggings. This same model was offered by several vendors but this seemed the most aesthetically appealing and best quality, and I think it was. The fur lining, the hardware on the side, the sole, the heel and the small details like packing them in individual fabric bags all add to the quality. Haven't worn them out but they seem sturdy. I just wish they were a bit shorter in height and a bit wider in the foot

I’ve never, ever written a review before, so that should tell you how satisfied I am with this purchase. My feet are difficult to fit, due to the fact that my forefoot is very wide but my heels are very narrow, so I rarely buy shoes online. But I was seduced by the price of these boots, and after reading a number of reviews, decided to take a chance. I’m happy to say that I’m really pleased with this purchase! The boots are well made for the price, and they do not look cheap. The sole is thick and sturdy, and the material that makes up the foot and shaft seems sturdy as well. It’s clearly not leather, but it looks like a fairly high quality imitation. The fit is good. I ordered a size 8.5, which is my usual size. As others have mentioned, it is a bit large but in a good way. I will have room for an insole (there is really no arch support to speak of) or thick socks. The heel is big, but it doesn’t move up and down due to the fact that the forefoot fits well. It does touch my big toe joint, but it’s not so tight that it causes discomfort. I think if I had ordered a size 8, it would have been. The shaft is wider than I expected. I have big athletic calves and I usually expect even “wide calf” styles to be snug. These actually have a bit of a gap. I’m happy about that as it means jeans will tuck in nicely without straining the zipper or being uncomfortably tight. I needed black and brown, but I only ordered brown to see how it fit first. I actually ordered camel after much deliberation. I wanted something neutral, and the dark brown just seemed a bit too dark to go with lighter colors. The color is really nice! It’s not too light and not too dark. I was so pleased that I did order a pair in black. I don’t expect these to last for years and years, but I think with some care I can definitely get two or three seasons from them.

I was worried about these boots after reading some of the reviews. These boots were the third pair I've ordered online within the last month. The other two pairs were sent back to the companies I ordered them from. One pair didn't even have an even heel so you couldn't walk safely on them. So needless to say I was very hesitant that these would work. I have a wider calf so that's a whole other problem when it comes to boots. And another requirement for my boots are that they have to have a non slip sole. I don't like sliding around when I wear boots. Let's talk about how they arrived. Each boot was wrapped in a dust bag and had stuffing in each boot. They also arrived in a box. To put them to a solid test, I wore them, without breaking them in, for 9 hours at work. I am on my feet all day and walk up and down steps multiple times a day. Not only did my feet not hurt, but the boots held up. I walked 7,144 steps in all with the boots on. They looked and felt the same afterwards. Sure, they could use more cushion, but I have insoles I move into different shoes and I could that if I felt like it. I expect to buy fall boots every year. For this price point, if I have to buy a different pair next year due to these getting worn out, that's okay. I liked the warm lining on the inside of the boots as it added a little extra warmth. No, they aren't as warm as wearing a pair of Uggs, but the lining is a nice touch. I sized up so that I could wear thick socks and I'm glad I did. They are a bit big without the thick socks, but perfect with them. Overall for the price point, I think they are a great value.

Full disclosure - I am someone who obsesses when I buy something by researching the heck out of it and read reviews like a madwoman. I am horrible in that I don't often leave reviews (although I am trying to fix that here an now!) but I almost NEVER, EVER purchase something that hasn't already received plenty of reviews. Well, almost never. Because when I bought these boots, there were no reviews yet and I was hesitant to purchase them for that very reason. But I have thick calves (16") and I wanted some boots. And these had super cute quilting on the back. And zippers. And well, Amazon is pretty awesome so I figured I could beg a return if they were awful. I was beyond thrilled when the boots arrived. Not only did they look just as cute in the box as they did on the screen, they fit LIKE A DREAM. The interior zipper glides effortlessly. I wear them with my Old Navy Rockstar jeans tucked into them and they are the comfiest thing ever. I bought them in the dark brown and received a ton of compliments on them. So much so that I recommended them to a co-worker and she showed up with the black pair a few weeks later! They don't bunch and sag around my ankles and the foot is nice and roomy. I wear a 7.5 to 8 depending - I bought these in an 8 and they fit perfectly. I want to get the black pair as well (wish it had a silver zipper instead of gold but the gold still looks nice in person). My only disappointment is the toe on my left boot is starting to wear off and you can see the black of the boot underneath. Not sure what the fix for that would be and I've only had these a few months (although I have worn them quite a few times!). But for the price, I am not *too* surprised and I still love them. Great, great boots for us ladies with the larger calves!!
