These are nothing like the water sandals I bought 30 years ago! .....I bought these for gardening because they let your feet breathe like sandals but have a closed toe for protection, and of course they can get wet. More importantly, they have 2 adjustable straps to keep the foot from shifting on uneven terrain, which is most of my yard. ....The first day I wore them the fit was perfect so I went back to buy a second pair. But then I decided to break them in a little longer. .....Now that I've worn them over a month I can confidently say these are the best waterproof sandals I've ever worn. It makes me want to buy them in every color. If only they had better colors! .....ps, I usually wear a 7.5-8 and the advice was to go a size down so it turned out 7 is perfect. My mom and sister ordered these and loved them so I ordered them and in my recommended size and I feel they run big. Be careful. I wish I’d ordered a size down from my 1/2 size instead of a size up Since these are sandals I won’t wear them with socks so they’re loose but still comfortable. Just wish I’d ordered a size smaller. (I already wore them out for a day or I’d exchange them) ... show more

Nice looking shoe! Wasn't sure at first due to the front part of the shoe. Can't adjust the front part of it so wasn't sure how it would fit around my toes. Put them on and they fit prefect! Very roomy and doesn't pinch anything on my feet so there is no break in issues. Very comfortable and love the price! ... show more

While I agree with other reviews (including the “runs large”) that this is generally a great product for the price, a major problem for me was that the front buckle is all show...you cannot adjust width. As I have a large bunion kn one foot, I ordered them specifically because I COULD adjust. The strap that should slide was sewn in such a way that adjusting larger OR smaller is impossible. I will be returning...a terrible disappointment, because otherwise I love them. ... show more

Shoe looks really great on your feet, dressier than other hiking sandals. I can wear a size 7-8, depending on the shoe. I try to order 7 1/2-8 so my toes won’t be cramped. I ordered an 8 and it was a bit big, but they are wearable. Very comfortable shoe!
