The sides of the shoes ride too high on the ankle bones. The first 2 times I wore them I had to change back in to last pair of shoes because they rubbed to hard on my ankle bones. I had to take the shoe laces out of the top holes and tie them looser. That makes them work but should be able to lace them up and have a good fit. I love the looks! This shoe was stiff at first and rubbed my ankle for about a week wear in period. I liked the shoe, and they got a lot of compliments. They fit well, true to size, and kept me from sliding on the court. I wore out the sole fairly quickly - in two months I needed a new pair. These are the only tennis shoes my 16yo daughters wear. We just order the same exact shoe/size in different colors. They say they have the best ankle support in the shoes they have tried. We will continue to order over and over!

I’m an avid rec pickleball player. I had a pair of Kswiss pickleball shoes (the light ones) for the last 3 years. They broke at the pinky toe finally. Those shoes were extremely comfortable and I feel like they should not have busted like they did. Anyways, wanted these to work out so bad because they look awesome but they are just so uncomfortable. They run big and sit super low at the ankle compared to other court shoes. Also felt super stiff and like there would need a long break in period. I’m telling y’all, there are much better shoes for this price out there, especially now.
