Good sturdy shoe but needs “break-in” period

Color: Grey Two/Solar Orange/Team Shock Pin
I love the firm support & the colors, & Barricades last well. But they were very stiff initially & required a “break-in” period which previous Barricades have not, at least in my case. Perhaps this is due to the recycled plastic material used to make them . Overall very satisfied

Looks fantastic, feels even better

These look even cooler in person….for me, they fit perfectly true to size. I was worried after reading other reviews, but they fit perfect. They have a very cushiony feel and no rubs. Plenty of room in toe area, and I ordered another pair as backup, since a good court shoe is worth buying 2.

I like the look of these shoes. I was looking for court shoes for Pickleball. They are pretty bulky and it took a couple weeks to break in the right shoe. The left only took two wears - I’m not sure why the leather on one shoe was softer than the other. I took a star for that and a star for them bein
g “clunky”. I developed a very painful case of planter fasciitis in my left foot almost immediately after switching to these shoes. I didn’t take any stars because I don’t know if it was coincidence or related. Durability- excellent. I want a new pair of shoes and haven’t even started wearing out the bottoms yet. My previous shoes had slicks on the bottom in about a month.

Ridged and extremely stiff all over.

Ridged and extremely STIFF, there is nothing soft about this shoe. Lacing system is not comfortable on the top of your foot. I will have to add that this is the most uncomfortable sport shoe I HAVE EVER worn. I GAVE MINE AWAY

Best tennis shoes I tried

I was looking for new tennis shoes and tried on probably 15 pairs. These were the clear winners! Most pairs jammed my big toe/toenail painfully. These don't. Super comfy all around. I've been wearing them for a month or two now, still feel great.

Awkward fit due to diagonal lacing design

I was so excited to try this shoe because of the color and design. The purple and blue hombre design are gorgeous. I found a tennis skirt and water bottle to match as our league outfit; however, the shoe has a flimsy tongue and new diagonal lacing design that rubs my instep. This shoe would not be fu
