First let me say I love these boots, but as some reviews say they are a bit tight on the foot bridge. Last night I was trying outfits with the boots and this morning woke up with a bruised! Granted they are new and are not “worn-in” but have never experienced such a thing as a bruise on my feet!!! I bought them for my trip to Europe tomorrow and I’m hoping they will not kill my feet. I’m using them with thin socks and armed with big bandaids just in case. Will be hammering the heck out of them today in an effort to soften the leather! ... show more

I really like these! Originally I listened to other reviewers and ordered a half size up, so my normal size is 7.5, I ordered size 8. They were huge. I seriously couldn't walk in them without twisting my ankles or falling. I don't have wide feet or narrow feet nor do I wear super thick socks. Thankfully, my mom saw them and loved them so I had her try them on. She is normally 8.5 wide so I was surprised that these size 8 fit her so well and she now owns them, lol. I ordered myself my usual size and they are still somewhat big. Probably could get away with wearing a size 7 but I'll just be wearing thick socks with these. They do make a sound while walking but not necessarily an 'offensive' sound and they are a bit slick on my vinyl floors which I hope will go away after some wear outdoors. Otherwise, I absolutely love my new Chelsea boots and hope the black ones go on sale so I can snag those too! I definitely recommend these and trust your usual size! These are my favorite shoes right now! I bought a size up from what I am because they are closed toe, and I also broke my small toe. I just wear a little thicker sock and it works beautifully! SUPER comfy and cute with anything. Great for rain too

They are very cute and comfortable! The only thing I would mention is that if you have smaller ankles they do rub a bit on front leg part of your ankle. Otherwise very comfortable- with thick socks and with thin socks.

Usually wear size 8 in shoes but 7.5 are perfect. They were a little stiff at first but now more pliable. Easy to slide my foot in them. I bought the black ones first then had to have them in brown. I love them.
