All these reviews saying its unstable and tilts to one side etc honestly just didn't follow directions. There's multiple things you have to do to secure it and make it stable but once you do its not shaky or anything at all. The mattress is better than most others, while still being thin enough to be safe. (trust me, this is our third bassinet in less than a month..) The biggest thing for us is our baby FINALLY sleeps on it. Every other one he would scream and fuss and fidget and this one he seems comfortable enough to settle down and we get a couple hours stretch at a time. The only thing I don't like is the mattress cover isn't removeable/washable and trying to find sheets for it is a little tough. We also really like that its bigger than a standard bassinet yet smaller than a pack and play which allows him to stay in it longer but also not take up as much room as a pack and play. ... show more

This is perfect for a safe in between of co sleeping / safe sleep space. I loved the first one I bought so much that I bought a second for my best friend when she had her baby. It’s portable enough we were able to take it camping with us. Easy enough to assemble, sturdy, easy to clean. 10/10

New mom loves it. She wanted something that would be neutral in colors and design and also functional to use for her newborn thru 6-8 months in her bedroom. She also wanted the side opening feature to connect to her bedside. This offered all the above so it was a no brainer to send as a gift.

First - this thing is great. My daughter actually sleeps in it. It only took one or two nights to get her used to it. There are some minor things I would change, however. Mostly, I wish it was taller. Even on its highest setting, our bed is taller than the bassinet, so it can be difficult to feed her or put her down from the bed. Because of that awkward angle, sometimes I’ve tried to rest my head on the side bar (I mean come on, it’s 4:00 am), and it will start tipping some. It also rocks/shakes a lot when my baby girl is being real fidgety. It also has a wider base than others I’ve seen. All in all, I do really enjoy this one! My SO purchased this for me and our new baby. Unfortunately I got the news that I had a missed miscarriage at my first ultrasound (13 weeks 2 days). I opened the package to make sure everything was good and that there were no signs of damages or burns as anyone has stated before. It was absolutely perfect. I couldn’t be happier with the product I received. I’m sad to know my baby won’t be able to use it. But I know my little rainbow later on can use it and create new memories with it. We got this initially as a last minute thing because the fiancé wanted something that would make nursing easier at night. The only problem is, it slants to one side, and our baby rolls on her side when it does, and it worries us that she’s going to put her face into the side of the bassinet. It’s too short to prop on our bed as well to prevent this. We’ve tried propping it underneath with different things and sometimes it manages to work, other times does not. All together we stopped using it due to our safety concerns and have moved her into a pack and play bassinet for the time being. ... show more

Like the other reviews state it's at a slant, but I still love this bassinet! Also I didn't realize i needed a bed that sits on a box frame to use the straps. But no matter, i just use the straps around my side rail and lock the wheels. I even roll it into the living room when my baby sleeps and I've gotta cook or something.
