Overall, I'm pleased with this bassinet. It is just a tad wobbly, but nowhere near where I think it would tip or collapse. The mattress is a little thin (can feel the groove in the support board underneath). If you use a platform bed and foam mattress, it may not hold well enough to use attatched to the bed as the anchors seem a little undersized. The instructions I got for attatching it to the bed were wrong, but when I contacted the company, they custom made me a video on how to do it and got it to me within 24 hours. The whole thing feels and looks substantial, while being easy to tote to another room or Grandma's. The basket at the bottom is good sized. It is every bit as pretty in person as in the pictures. We have had this for two nights, and our 1.5 week old has slept for 7 hours both nights! It’s so nice to just be able to roll over and put my hand on her and calm her back to sleep within seconds with her pacifier and a gentle little head/face rub. We had a different bassinet that wasn’t a good fit for us because it did not have a drop down side. Picking her up out of the bassinet when she woke up woke her up too much and it was hard to get her back to sleep again. We started cosleeping which is not the safest option. This bassinet is scary! I put my newborn in it and noticed she kept rolling on her side and ending up all the way on one side of the bassinet even when I put her to sleep in the middle. My pediatrician told me it might be the “newborn curl” but the next morning she woke up swaddled and fully on her stomach, at 3 weeks old. Scary. I got a level and noticed the bassinet was not at all level. I reached out to the company and they asked for pictures of the assembly. Almost 3 weeks after I initially reached out they offered to send me a new bassinet and asked me to destroy the one I had, presumably because they agreed it was unsafe. Of course, I’m not going to let my daughter sleep in this bassinet for 3 weeks given the safety risk… I got a new bassinet the same day I noticed this, 3 weeks prior, so I don’t need a new bassinet at this point. They declined to refund me and asked me again to destroy the bassinet. Buyer beware. ... show more

Fine for newborns who don't wiggle but we just used it for vacation and my 17lb son rolled to the side of it and the bottom tilts just enough so he is stuck and can't roll back over to the middle. Frustrating. I see they have another version with supports that keeps this from happening. Going to see if we can find something better for traveling. We used this for his first 3 months sleeping in our room though and it worked good. The bug net worked to deter the cats. ... show more
