I saw a dad pushing his older (4+) kid sitting in one of these Dream On Me coaster strollers in the NYC subway, and immediately wanted to get one for my kid (who is almost 3). My son can outrun me and loves to walk, but after 5-10 minutes of walking, he wants me to carry him. I'm not gonna carry his 30+ pounds for hours in a park or when on a trip. So this thing. It assembled fairly quickly without any tools. And when assembled it's fairly sturdy (not anywhere as stable as a full sized stroller, but plenty stable enough given what it is). Folding is tricky and I don't fold it down usually just push down the handlebar. It doesn't come with any accessories so get at least a cup holder for the handlebar. Pushing it around is a breeze, it handles smoothly on all surfaces and pushes better than my much more expensive Thule Spring stroller. I'm using it with the full wraparound bar and seat as my kid isn't quite 3 years old. Later I'll remove the seat and maybe swap the roll cage for the T bar. I expect I can use this at least until he's 5 and probably beyond in the T bar setup. A+ ... show more

I bought this stroller for a vacation with my 3 year old. I was looking for something easy and compact. Especially for the airport. I'm so glad I bought it! It took a few times to really get it down, but once I did folding and unfolding it was SO easy. It also strolls really smooth and i was able to push it one-handed at times, which came in really handy. My son really liked it too. We not only used it at the airport, but also through the zoo and other things we did. It also converts into a scooter that your toddler can sit on. We have not used this feature yet. I was worried if my son knew it did that he'd never sit in it as a stroller lol. ... show more

So I purchased this stroller solely for its compact capabilities, considering that I was going on an international flight. When my family and I arrived to Italy, where we visited several Italian and Greek cities, I was most certainly not expecting the “intense” terrain. Long story short, this bad boy performed without failure or hick-ups. I’m talking about cobble stone streets, roads with numerous dips and ditches, dirt roads, etc. I cannot count the number of times I had to maneuver the stroller onto and off of curbs and stairs… all of this and not a single mishap. This review is for the Coast Rider Stroller. I really like this stroller for city living, it's small which helps navigating the subway, bus, grocery store etc. my son likes it because of the open sides so he can see all around. It also lightweight so not difficult to carry him up the stairs in the stroller. It's easy to steer with one hand, which a standard umbrella style stroller is not. We get a lot of compliments on this when we are out since it's so small. The seat is also higher up than an umbrella stroller so it can serve as a seat for dining if a booster seat is not available, though it is still lower than a booster seat. I have not yet used the canopy so cannot comment on the functionality of that or the ability to use it in the rain as I'm unsure if there is a rain cover that works w/ the canopy. There are a few things i wish were a bit better- 1. the fold is a bit clumsy and when folded there are separate parts (the handle) which makes it tough to carry. I wish it could fold and not be separate pieces or if Dream on me offered a bag you could purchase sized for this. so far the only bag i found that fits without being huge it is an Ikea bag, and that's not very nice looking. the sun shade is also separate so that would be a 3rd piece 2. no storage below or snack tray, i bought separate universal snack tray and cup holder but it would be nice if these were offered as add-ons so you know it's compatible. still haven't solved the storage aspect, so we just use the diaper backpack when we have this. ... show more

Needed something to fit in my tiny car trunk/passenger seat and this def fits the bill! My son loves it bc he can observe his surroundings with ease. The disassembling isn’t the most convenient but over time it becomes second nature. The 5 point harness def comes in handy since it isn’t as sturdy as a regular stroller especially if your child is on the heavier side. Def recommend following the weight restrictions to prevent accidents. You can buy the canopy attachment for shade or do like I do and just get your kid a quality sun/bucket hat. My son is 40lbs & very tall. It was difficult to find a stroller that he could fit comfortably in. He’s autistic, so it is a struggle for him to sit still, but the 5 point harness keeps him secure.
